With around 15 years of experience working in broadcast media, Beena has worked on a wide variety of programming for the BBC (TV, Radio and Online), ITV, Channel 4 and UKTV. She has expertise in both production and development across factual programming including access driven observational series, foreign travel series, long and short form formats across Specialist Factual, Popular Factual, Current Affairs, Sport and Children’s genres. Of late she has set up Chronicle Films, a not-for-profit that works with people living with dementia and their families to create reminiscence films and is a co-founder of Sonder Radio, an online station that works with older people living in Greater Manchester.
