Co-founder of Old Skool Movements.Darren’s beginnings into media started when he was 16 years old. His first job in PR was for an entertainment company (Media Shadowfax) in the mid 90's. Having worked there for a number of years, Darren left to embark on a new journey where he hasn’t looked back since. In 2004 having won a UMA Music Award with his then band “The Tranzformerz” he put together a series of open mic nights in London’s 'Hard Rock Cafe' for aspiring musicians which ran for 4 years. During this time Darren also wrote scripts for television documentary ideas whilst working with other like minded creatives on various online TV projects. Darren and his business partner at the time formed an independent production company called “Dirty Media” where Darren would direct and present content for the company such as red carpet movie premieres, interviews and covered various sporting events. He also hosted numerous celebrity events and gatherings. Since then Darren has continued to work with a number production companies writing scripts and directing. He has recently launched his own podcast discussing one of subjects he likes to talk about the most ….nostalgia.It was a natural gravitation for Darren to decide to create a Podcast based on his younger years growing up in London in the 80/ 90's which he also shared with his co-host Chris Rimell as they have been good friends since the age of 6!
