Jimi Famurewa is a freelance writer, food critic, editor and broadcaster. Currently, he is the chief restaurant critic for the Evening Standard. He co-hosts the "Life on A Plate" podcast for Waitrose.Famurewa's writing has appeared in The Guardian, GQ, Empire, Wired, Grazia, and Time Out. He started writing for the Evening Standard in 2015, and became their food critic in 2018. Famurewa has appeared on TV, including on the BBC's Masterchef, Masterchef: The Professionals, and Step Up to the Plate.
