Patrick Foulis is an economics journalist. Currently, he is the Business Affairs Editor at the Economist.Foulis was the author off the paper's Schumpeter column, and before that, he was its New York Bureau Chief. Before moving to New York, he set up a new editorial bureau for The Economist in Mumbai, where he was based for four years as India Business Editor. Prior to that he was Banking Editor and Finance Correspondent.Patrick received his double first class degree in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University.
