Back in 1992, Rick Betenbough and his father formed a company to build and deliver quality, affordable homes. Central to that was a desire to honor God through their work, and that desire has grown and continues. Today, Rick and his wife Holly run Betenbough Companies, which is employee-owned and has grown to include multiple companies with distinct missions, but all of which united under one purpose: to advance the Kingdom of God.

Betenbough Companies is a Public Benefit Corporation, or PBC, which is a corporate structure in the State of Texas that allows an organization to have priorities beyond profit. This structure allows the company to continue to balance its purpose alongside profit and long-term return for its employee owners. The family of companies includes: Betenbough Homes, Alcove Farms, Kingdom at Work, Betenbough Business Services, and The Willows Event Center. You can learn more about Rick and his companies at www.betenboughcompanies.com.

In this episode, Rick shares fresh perspectives on what it means to live fully as a person of faith in the marketplace, as he explains the concept of what Rick calls “Kingdom Business.”
