Many have tried to "imitate" the fun we have here on the show, but nobody comes close thanks to you, our dear listener, coming back each and every week to support us. This week, however, we're doing a little imitating of our own, as we take a look at Guillermo del Toro in depth, with his 1997 film "Mimic". The story features many del Toro trademarks, such as Catholocism, the imagination of children, and big, ugly bugs. The bug in this story comes to life when Susan, played by Mira Sorvino, tries to eradicate a virus by engineering a new species—one that doesn't want to stay dead. Armed with the biggest budget and most recognizable cast to date on our list, will del Toro's first American feature sit well with Erik and Lester? You'll have to tune in to see!
