COCK UP’SThe CHP squads (with an incorrect star logo livery) seen on the Golden Gate Bridge are 2006-16 Chevrolet Impala 9C1s - CHP in real life does not operate the Chevrolet Impala since the vehicle does not meet the payload requirements - their main squad is the Ford Police Interceptor Utility which has been in service since 2013 replacing the discontinued Crown Victoria Police Interceptor which was discontinued in 2011. CHP vehicle maintenance is paid out of the department's expense when a squad goes past 100,000 miles where the department enters into a bidding process to procure fleet replacements.During the school bus sequence on the bridge, the police block off the bridge on one side and set up spike strips just a few yards in front of them. This is absolutely pointless as the tires would not have enough time to deflate before hitting the police cars and officers.
