RATING
An adaptation of "A Midsummer's Night's Dream" set during quarantine in which Oberon and Titania feed off the emotions of two podcasters who live in the same apartment complex. Problems arise when Helena's friend Hermia and Hermia's boyfriend move in. The love potion antics remain as entertaining as in the original story, and the different setup bypasses the consent issues from the original's ending. The faeries fight over bread and muse on change, stagnation, and love. If you can get past the idea that faeries need to quarantine from COVID and would live in a NY apartment, it's an enjoyable listen. This podcast claims to have full transcripts in the show notes, but they're all cut off after a scene or two; hopefully they remedy this error.
