I loved this episode! Ally and Tanya were two really enthusiastic and entertaining hosts. This is a great movie that this podcast will surely make you want to watch even more. As Ally and Tanya discussed, even though this Elem Klimov-directed film is less known in the West than "Come and See," it's actually his more popular movie in Russia and the FSU. There were tons of interesting moments in this episode: from Ally comparing the child acting in it to the British TV show, "Outnumbered," to Tanya sharing how one of Eisenstein's most famous frames in "Battleship Potemkin" was copied in this movie.
