This episode offers an inside perspective on the impact of COVID-19 from a small business owner, Andrea Santucci, of Tiber Limo. Over the course of a few visits to Italy, Andrea has shown my family and I such amazing parts of his home. From the best cornettos (Italian croissants) to local neighborhoods like Testaccio and Trastevere, my love for Italy grew from the stories Andrea shared during our visits. This initially-transactional relationship quickly grew into a lifelong friendship as we now consider Andrea to be a part of our extended family.
Listen to Andrea recap the dramatic turn that this pandemic took, bringing business to a screeching halt. As he optimistically shares, the hope is that this too shall pass, and that the future is soon.
We wish to see him smiling and sharing a warm embrace in Italy soon, and look forward to a home-cooked authentic Italian meal. Thanks for listening.
