Chris Barnes (on the right) and Paul Webb (on the left) are bee-keeping enthusiasts who turned their hobby into a business last year when they crowdfunded and launched a range of British, unpasteurised, single-source honey called Black Bee. Their low-key delivery disguises some strong opinions about the noise of the startup community, their feelings about peak stuff and the serious purpose behind what they are doing. Any time in their company is enjoyable and I was really happy to catch up with them.
