In this episode, we explore whether Open AI's GPT-3 neural network can write in a theatrical manner.
We used GPT-3 to create the names of the characters (Stacey and Lazlo). Then we selected the first two lines. Using this exchange, we allowed the neural network to write a short play several times over. We (humans) chose our favourite but each one had its merits. We might yet create some of the variants down the line.
We also asked GPT-3 to give it a name. And so THE LIFE AND TIMES OF VENDOR IGLOO was born.
Stacey and Lazlo are a couple, but what happened that night at the hospital will change everything forever. Enjoy!
All words are spoken by generated voices on Natural Readers.
The intro and outro music is generated by Amper Music, the interludes are created by the lovely folk at AI Music.
The images on the artwork are created in RunwayML using the AttnGAN model.
