Hey everybody, this is Scoots. This is

0:02

a new kind of experimental version

0:04

of Sleep With Me we've never done before.

0:07

So welcome. These are just bedtime stories from

0:09

our podcast, Sleep With Me and make them

0:11

feel fresh. These ones are from a couple

0:13

of years ago. So

0:15

if you're regular listener, you might get a

0:17

refresh. And if

0:20

you're new, these are just bedtime stories from

0:23

a show called Sleep With Me. They're

0:25

strange, they're meandering, they're a little bit

0:27

different. And all this is made possible

0:29

by listeners like you, regular listeners like

0:32

you. And so I just

0:34

want to let you know, that's how we're able to

0:36

put the show out. And so if you are

0:38

a fan of Sleep With Me, you listen to it on

0:40

a regular basis, please consider supporting the show. You

0:43

get ad-free episodes, you get ad-free

0:45

story only episodes, tons of other

0:47

cool stuff at Sleep With Me

0:49

Plus, that's sleepwithmepodcast.com/plus. But

0:51

if you're in a position and you have

0:54

some money every month or you say, hey,

0:56

maybe I don't watch that streaming service, I'd

0:58

rather give it to a podcast. Think about

1:00

your favorite podcast. It doesn't have to be

1:02

Sleep With Me and support that podcast. If

1:04

it is Sleep With Me, I can support

1:06

the show, it'd be great, but if it

1:08

isn't, or there's a podcast you listen to

1:10

way more, brings you a lot of value

1:12

during the day, please support that

1:14

podcast. Podcasting is going through a different

1:17

time right now, and your

1:19

favorite podcast, the one you get the

1:21

most out of, could use your support

1:23

the most. So consider supporting

1:26

it, however they request support, just

1:28

check it out, like listen to the show or check

1:30

out their website, or consider supporting Sleep With Me, if

1:32

Sleep With Me, you say, oh no, Sleep With Me

1:35

is the one I listen to the most, sleepwithmepodcast.com/plus,

1:38

thanks. Friends

1:41

beyond the binary, ladies and

1:44

gentlemen, boys and girls, it's

1:47

time for the podcaster, you know, I'm

1:49

wearing flannel. I've talked about flannel and

1:51

intros, and then I've forgotten what intro

1:53

I talked about it, but I'm cloaked

1:55

in flannel right now, or

1:58

I'm closed in flannel. So

2:01

I can be cozy so I can make

2:03

you cozy and if you're confused you'll be

2:05

confused and you'll be cozy because it's time

2:07

for sleep with me. The podcast that puts

2:09

you to sleep. And

2:11

if your hand hits the fridge tomorrow and you wonder

2:14

how to sleep with me put two episodes out every

2:16

single week for free. It's these

2:18

sponsors you invite them at sleep

2:20

with me podcast.com/sponsors. And

2:23

I couldn't do it without all

2:25

of you. Thanks patrons. What

2:27

do you say we get on with the show? Hey

2:31

everybody this is Scootz this is a quick

2:33

message here. If you get a lot

2:36

out of sleep with me if you're a regular listener you

2:38

like these new things you're trying out like the story only

2:40

version of the show. If you're new don't

2:42

worry about any of this. But if you're

2:44

a regular listener sleep with me or your

2:46

regular listener of any podcast. If you have

2:48

a favorite podcast and it's not sleeping with

2:50

me that's totally cool. If

2:52

you have podcasts you listen to way more or

2:55

you get way more value out of totally understand

2:57

that. Consider supporting that

2:59

podcast. Podcasting

3:01

as industries kind of going through a weird

3:04

phase right now. Direct support from

3:06

listeners is going to be it seems like it's going

3:08

to be the future of most shows. And

3:11

so consider supporting the podcast

3:14

you really love. And you

3:16

can do that you can find out your listeners

3:18

and listeners show and see how they ask to

3:20

be supported and or reach out

3:22

to them say hey how can I support you or if

3:24

you can't afford you know a few dollars a month you

3:26

say hey how else can I support you. But if sleeping

3:28

me is the one you sleep with me plus is the

3:30

best way to support sleep with me. So

3:34

for sleeping plus not only get an

3:36

unbelievable sweet different ways to listen to

3:39

the show. But

3:41

it's a huge help for us to be able to do

3:43

stuff like this. But yeah think

3:45

about what your favorite podcast is and

3:48

then go ahead and go to their website or if

3:50

you already know how they like to be supported support

3:52

that show. Thanks and good night. All

3:55

right buddy it's Scootz here it

3:57

is time for our episodically modul-

4:00

series, a sadically

4:03

modular series with a touch of

4:05

seriality. It's at this point called

4:07

Spice Friends. And

4:11

this would... so if you're new to the

4:13

show or new to the series or you

4:15

say Scoot says in the series kind of

4:17

chain... and they say, yeah, these series are

4:19

always always in the sleep of me. Always

4:21

out in developing but sometimes

4:24

reverting at the same... reverting,

4:27

developing. Sleep with me stories.

4:30

Sometimes they're going nowhere. They're

4:33

neither reverting nor developing.

4:37

But they're always becoming something. But

4:39

sometimes they've already become what they... oh

4:42

sorry, this is not an intro though.

4:44

It's a setup for our... well, it's

4:46

not a new series anymore. This is

4:48

the fourth episode. Here's a good new episode.

4:50

This could be your first episode because I'm going to tell

4:52

you everything you need to know right

4:55

now. And then

4:59

you could listen to the first of the other

5:01

three episodes. They'd be prequels. That actually just works

5:03

out like the famous space

5:05

opera, A New

5:09

Hope was episode four. So there

5:12

you go. You're right in time. You're

5:15

listening at the perfect time. And that's

5:17

what I'm going to tell you everything

5:19

you need to know. Episodically modular means

5:21

that even though there's a touch of seriality,

5:23

you could listen to these episodes in any order.

5:26

Out of order might

5:28

even be preferable. In fact, you don't even

5:30

need to listen to them at all because

5:32

I'm going to carry you off into dreamland.

5:34

So I guess... yes, okay. So what is

5:38

Spice Friends? Spice Friends is a story

5:40

about a world just like ours and

5:42

not too far in the future where...

5:45

and you've seen this

5:47

portrayed in so many movies and

5:49

you know so many different... I

5:52

don't know if I've read any books

5:54

about this but I've seen movies and

5:56

cartoons, animated programs, kind of. books

6:00

and toys. So at some point in

6:02

our future in this world, which

6:05

is a fictional

6:07

world, there becomes big

6:09

ones like big forest

6:12

friends that are walking

6:14

around. They don't exactly love

6:16

humans and somehow if you trace

6:18

it back you say okay maybe

6:20

this has to do with... there

6:22

was once a song called Radioactive. I can't

6:25

remember who's saying it. Maybe it was just

6:28

something in the background. I get

6:31

a London dance feel

6:33

from it but I'm not sure if it was

6:35

you know kind of that style of song. And

6:39

these big ones appeared and they said we

6:41

didn't get the message right

6:43

away but they said hey we don't like that

6:46

song or anything that subtextually

6:48

might be related to that song

6:50

if you catch my drift. And

6:55

we didn't realize that as human

6:57

beings in this world that I'm

6:59

broadcasting from now as of right

7:01

now. And so

7:03

the big ones would go around and they'd say

7:05

well what are you playing that

7:08

song for? Offensive

7:10

dancing, defensive dancing, energy

7:12

producing dancing. Actually we

7:14

don't care. We're not gonna... we'd prefer it in a strong

7:16

sense. We

7:21

may step on your boombox or

7:24

take the batteries out but we're

7:26

also your gigantic beings. So

7:29

that was the state of the world for quite some

7:31

time and they would

7:35

come, they would go. It was always

7:37

a conundrum. How do we deal with this?

7:40

But then they had gone for a while

7:42

and they made this comeback. Oh we thought

7:44

we had them all on this island. It

7:46

was technically an atoll. But how

7:50

come everybody

7:52

now yells at me hey atoll?

7:54

I've recently... I said oh I

7:56

saw it. I said they...

7:58

I know I said... Great question when

8:01

they're honking though, or they're just

8:03

driving by comment they

8:05

seek make a comment about how I walk

8:07

or how I bike and Then

8:10

they usually say hey atoll And

8:12

I said I thought I was the only

8:15

atoll fan around that didn't know really very

8:17

much about atolls because I'm not I think

8:19

They're islands But if they

8:21

actually is it an island here's a question

8:24

the islands. This is really a question I'm

8:26

not kidding, and I guess they already answered

8:28

it Islands

8:30

must go all the way down below the

8:32

sea to connect with the earth below the

8:35

sea the sea floor, right? Okay,

8:37

dead silence in my brain one of my

8:40

one of my parts of my brain just

8:42

face planet itself But

8:44

really if that is the case There's

8:48

got to be some floating islands right maybe

8:51

not Yeah,

8:53

it gets my ignorance is all my ignorance

8:55

is always on display so

8:58

But they lived on a they were

9:00

all resting on a atoll Don't

9:04

you want to call me an atoll now? You

9:07

say I say but no it's not

9:09

my name, but I do like a

9:11

tolls. I love saying it Or

9:15

a toll I say you say a toll I

9:17

say a toll I

9:20

see we usually I said there's that that was

9:23

a fact when you're going by the Doppler effect

9:26

But it sounds like a toll when you say a toll

9:31

So okay giggles aside The

9:34

big ones were on a toll

9:36

then President Smith and President Vice

9:38

President Smith were elected as president

9:41

and Vice President the United States

9:43

at the time Is

9:45

it just having to coincide with a comeback

9:48

of the big ones President Smith had to

9:50

like had to one disconnect

9:54

part of the United States to Have

9:57

Become it like an Atlantis like. Was

10:00

a shin. In. An attempt

10:02

to get rid of one of the big ones. That

10:06

didn't really work which price stress

10:08

presence miss out even more Them

10:10

President Smith became a big one

10:12

with the sir I'm or something

10:14

new doesn't matter because it's in

10:16

the pastor. The.

10:18

President's Miss became a giant. Fig.

10:21

One big being. Dealt.

10:24

With a big ones got em all Ac

10:26

what seemed like it was going to be

10:28

and often said thing but it was really

10:30

distract distraction President Smith, get all the big

10:32

ones to the big ones. A tall. And

10:35

their then I guess or some

10:38

sort who have their presence miss

10:40

was working with this planet zipper.

10:43

Who. Would then. I

10:45

put everything entire our entire planet

10:47

into hibernation. Not a good news

10:49

is because of their metabolism or

10:51

something. Big ones sleep a lot

10:53

longer than everything else and the

10:55

ursa, so they stayed a suitable

10:58

long time. lot longer than all

11:00

the humans. And. Everything

11:02

else and then. We.

11:05

Had sent a space team or astronauts

11:08

to Pointed zipper to get some longer

11:10

term solution. One astronaut came back care

11:12

now. in the meantime this is like

11:14

you know to space travels. not like

11:16

in the movies. takes a while. And

11:20

so by the time of

11:23

this Astronaut Gabay Care. Lot.

11:25

Of things had changed. So.

11:29

If you are living where you're living now,

11:31

you may be under the auspices of the.

11:34

Words. Like a affiliated is and a

11:36

know the Friendly Nations or somethin. President.

11:39

Present Vice President Smith said.

11:42

She. Had. A six

11:44

Taken a step out of politics but

11:47

then returned or whatever because leadership I

11:49

would call it a. And.

11:51

She was now President technically not

11:53

President of the World. But.

11:56

prisoners cn cooperative nations who just

11:58

get that note Thank you. And

12:03

then the big

12:05

ones, so I'm trying to

12:08

get to where we're supposed to be, right? So then

12:10

the big ones appeared again, unrelated

12:12

to President Smith being president of the

12:14

world, or not

12:16

appeared again. They were already appearing on, they

12:18

were sleeping on Big Ones Island or hibernating,

12:21

and everyone was waiting for the hibernation to

12:23

end. Not

12:25

exactly a great thing. One

12:28

of the astronauts returned from Planet Zipper.

12:31

They had sent instructions, so there was

12:33

this whole children's programming happening, and

12:38

cereal and toys

12:41

at the instructions from the astronaut of Planet

12:43

Zipper. They sent ahead of time, which

12:46

was confusing, but President Smith,

12:48

she went with it. And

12:52

then, but she was expecting the astronaut to have,

12:54

you know, like a laser or a super serum

13:00

or something else to

13:03

deal with, or like a big one,

13:05

you know, a positive big one or

13:07

something to deal with the big ones,

13:09

or like extending their hibernation. And

13:13

understandably, the whole world was expecting that

13:15

too. Meanwhile, the astronaut

13:17

said, no, we don't have anything

13:19

like that. But

13:22

if you trust me, if we put

13:24

on this children's programming, which is

13:26

also geared towards adults with positive

13:30

reinforcement, you know, validation, all that

13:32

kind of good stuff, I think

13:35

if you trust me, you'll see. Oh,

13:37

because the astronaut explained to

13:39

President Smith and all of us who are

13:41

listening, but I'll explain it to you now,

13:45

there was a manifestation

13:48

theory that doesn't make a whole

13:50

lot of sense. Even you got

13:52

to take it on face alone. But

13:57

if you track things back, you say, okay, wait a

13:59

second. And when the inspiration

14:02

for the song Radioactive

14:04

started, which

14:06

is not the actual inspiration, I know, that's

14:09

when the big ones appeared. And

14:13

the manifestation theory goes, that's

14:15

how they became into being.

14:20

Again, I'm sure science could track

14:22

down, eventually we'll track down the

14:25

actual mechanics of all that. But

14:28

right now it's beyond our understanding,

14:30

especially for this story. Many things

14:33

beyond my understanding. But

14:36

the astronauts that are on planet

14:38

zipper, they take the manifestation theory

14:40

seriously. And

14:42

if a big one can manifest from

14:45

that kind of energy, just

14:47

like the song Pure Energy, which may

14:49

or may not be by the same

14:51

band, but it's in the same style

14:54

as that, they said,

14:57

if you use positive energy, maybe

14:59

you could manifest a positive

15:02

big one. Obviously

15:05

President Smith kind of scoffed at that and

15:08

said, we're actually looking for real solutions here.

15:12

But the astronaut was very confident, said, hey, trust

15:14

me on this one. Or go

15:16

ahead, only partially trust me.

15:20

Keep going in parallel. Not

15:23

only a thing that's troubling beyond

15:25

the big ones, that was troubling,

15:27

President Smith was the fact that

15:29

she did have one big solution,

15:31

which was similar to her father's.

15:35

But her father's was only localized in

15:37

the United States and California and Nevada.

15:40

She had a solution because big ones,

15:42

atoll, happen to be at an intersection.

15:45

Just like all good atolls, they're

15:48

at an intersection of continental plates and

15:51

things, or whatever those

15:53

things are called, lines. We're

15:58

continents. plates intersect

16:00

and they did have a

16:08

definitely caused

16:10

the big ones atoll to

16:13

be go bye-bye. But

16:16

it would also impact those

16:19

continental plates so definitely get rid of

16:21

the big ones atoll but

16:24

it would have a lot of after

16:26

effects for regular folks and a

16:29

large large impact and so President

16:32

Smith is like okay that's a real tough

16:34

decision to make here not the one I

16:36

want to make get rid of the big

16:38

ones but I am

16:40

not no one's qualified to make that

16:42

choice though everybody expects President

16:45

Smith also this wasn't revealed in

16:47

any of the stories but others tell you now so you

16:49

have it is the

16:51

only one that can act that because

16:55

working with her father and seeing the

16:57

path her father had to go down

16:59

and because of her intelligence and foresight

17:03

you know made sure this was like that

17:05

she only she would carry the failsafe and

17:07

that there's no way to duplicate it or

17:10

anything so only she

17:12

can make the final choice

17:16

because she carries the failsafe with her of

17:19

course you can see that there's a little

17:22

bit of a thing in that plan you know and

17:24

she did have

17:26

like minor backup plans but again for the time

17:28

being she said if anybody's going to do it

17:30

I'm going to do it because my father had

17:33

to do something similar I'm president of the world

17:36

but I don't want to do it because

17:38

I'm president of the world not part of

17:40

the world and you know not just a

17:43

part of the world you know but I also

17:45

president smith unless that said but I'm president

17:48

of the world so I will have to

17:50

decide this if

17:52

needed the astronaut was

17:54

saying don't worry about it meanwhile the

17:57

manifestation theory turn turned out it well

18:00

Again this could be just projection but let's

18:03

just say it for the sake of the story turned

18:05

out to be true with the projection or manifestation

18:07

of work. And

18:10

they were able to manifest a

18:12

giant positive cinnamon steak. Who

18:16

managed to deal with more for the

18:18

first big one that a walk and.

18:21

Save to save this from a save the

18:24

different places from off press and

18:26

then left the world maybe fused with moth

18:28

breath or something but they went in outer

18:30

space. So

18:32

that's one big one gone i guess we won't

18:35

be seeing i don't think we'll see some nice

18:37

and yes and i'm in space that was the

18:39

name of the spice friend. So

18:43

but meanwhile they left an island also

18:45

still full of big ones that were

18:47

getting to the end of their sleep

18:49

cycle because moth breath

18:51

woke up. Don't

18:54

moth breath may have been awakened by a

18:56

bunch of people that had a moth breath

18:58

based belief system. So

19:01

without further ado that's where

19:03

we're left off president of

19:05

the world president smith the

19:07

astronaut working on positive solutions

19:09

for children's programming that manifest

19:11

giant space based beings. And

19:16

one how but in a

19:18

recipe with one hollywood announcer

19:21

who really is my cinnamon

19:23

spice mister antonio bond aris.

19:27

Thank you scooter friends

19:30

me and the binaries of ladies and

19:32

gentlemen boys and girls it's

19:35

time to get spicy.

19:38

With spice friends. Clomp

19:42

clomp clomp yeah.

19:45

Holy cow you did once again you came

19:47

up with the thing see just

19:49

like the it takes a while for the show to

19:52

get a title it takes a while for your brilliance.

19:55

I mean i'm sure a lot of people that work

19:57

with you expected you to turn it i mean

19:59

your charms already turned. on. But

20:02

whatever that is, that skill

20:05

that you were able to do there,

20:09

you can't just turn that on, right? It

20:11

takes a while. I need a title and

20:13

understanding of the space story,

20:19

which you've provided me now. Thank

20:22

you and good night. All

20:24

right, yeah, you could go lie on my

20:26

bed again. I have your comforter.

20:29

I also

20:31

added some other comforter. Like I said, how's

20:33

that comforter? I tested the comforter when you

20:35

weren't here. It was quiet. So I don't

20:38

know if there's something else. It

20:41

sounds like you're wearing all leather clothes,

20:43

but you're not. So

20:45

I also ordered you some clothes that you

20:47

can do that. Oh, you did. They need

20:49

you to change into. But yeah,

20:52

thanks, everybody. Thanks. That's Mr.

20:54

Antonio Banderas, and this is

20:56

Spice Friends. Okay,

21:00

so I'm

21:02

recording these messages for

21:04

you or forever listens

21:07

to it. President Smith,

21:10

you know, I'm very proud of

21:12

you. I think I mentioned that

21:14

every single time, but you

21:17

know, it's just because the

21:19

spice, cinnamon spice worked, and

21:21

it's been some time since

21:23

cinnamon spices appearance. And

21:27

just because it worked once, you know, we

21:29

don't know. I mean, I'm confident it'll work

21:31

again. But you

21:35

know, everyone expected it to

21:38

work again immediately before any

21:40

other big ones awoke. And

21:43

I have told you this interpersonally, but I don't

21:45

know if there's a way to announce that the

21:48

world is like, well, what if this doesn't work

21:50

in the way we all expect? I

21:52

mean, my team is prepared for that.

21:56

It's not even when it did work, it

21:58

wasn't in the way everyone expects. Because

22:02

along the way, one thing we

22:04

learned is when we

22:06

lost sight of the why and the

22:08

what the first time. Is

22:12

that what caused it not to work? I

22:14

mean, probably contributed to it. So

22:17

I have to think about how I can

22:19

stay focused and my team can stay focused.

22:24

And I don't know if

22:26

the right word is a firewall. But

22:29

you've done a good job of that,

22:31

protecting us from the outside world, our

22:34

existence, our relate. Like even those people

22:36

said, oh, that's interesting that there

22:38

was a spicierun on that show and then there was

22:41

a spicierun in the world. It's

22:43

brought in a lot of spicierun

22:46

stuff is selling out, of course.

22:50

But it's just not that simple. The

22:53

whole world is waiting vigilantly

22:58

for both the next big one and

23:00

the next spice one. And

23:03

there's reports all the time of

23:05

a spice, or big ones waking

23:08

up or spice friends appearing. And

23:12

that like, why can't one appear now?

23:17

But there hasn't been

23:19

any appearances. And people want either

23:21

answers or actions from you in

23:25

their leadership. They

23:28

don't want faith. They don't want trust. You

23:32

know, obviously, you can't just present

23:34

the manifestation theory or to

23:37

say, hey, trust us. Everything's going to

23:39

be okay. Just be patient. We don't know

23:41

what we're doing. But trust us

23:43

anyway. And

23:46

at least on my end, I know what our

23:48

next steps are going to be because

23:51

I can feel the feelings directed

23:53

at you and directed at everyone's

23:56

feeling right now is pretty potent. It's

24:00

A-N-G-E-R. And it

24:04

walks hand in hand with

24:06

that vigilance, this hyper-vigilance. And

24:11

so we're moving forward, and we've been pitching

24:13

ideas, and we've been testing out different space

24:15

friends, and none of them have appeared, and

24:17

that's fine. But we thought

24:20

about it in a

24:22

session recently. And I said, okay,

24:25

it's hard to detach, to be

24:27

process-based when we're hoping for an

24:30

outcome, but

24:32

we keep returning to the feelings, and

24:34

that's why I'm talking about feelings, because

24:37

we made a list of how

24:39

do we feel or what do we think about

24:41

those feelings I mentioned, and

24:44

then a list of spices that

24:47

don't reflect those feelings. One

24:50

of the things we came up with was,

24:52

well, it's tough to understand, or this doesn't

24:54

make sense, or how is this healthy when

24:57

it's portrayed as always in a not-a-positive

24:59

light? How

25:01

do you validate something that's

25:04

volatile? What

25:06

do you do? Because, of course, if there's an island full of

25:08

big ones, you're going to be on alert.

25:13

And we kind of talked about the

25:15

feelings and the thoughts, and

25:17

tried to stay process-based. And then we

25:20

said, well, what is a space that's

25:22

kind of like that, especially from a

25:24

child's perspective, that they don't understand. If

25:27

you told them about it, they probably

25:29

wouldn't be interested. Even if you told

25:31

them, trust me, when I put this in food, it's

25:34

one of those things that makes us taste better.

25:37

We couldn't

25:39

just do it. We did want to get

25:42

the rights to the Dragonlance, and prequels

25:45

of the two brothers, the

25:48

Mejir brothers. And then just for the one

25:50

scene where Raceland gets

25:54

a job cooking at

25:56

an inn, And the secret

25:59

ingredient is garlic. really care? But.

26:02

That was denied a possible and they

26:04

said was too confusing so he said

26:06

okay garlic good but there was a

26:08

space we came up with was garlic

26:10

is in a same way. Or

26:13

similar. To. Those

26:16

other feelings you see? I don't know

26:18

about it or I'm not sure if

26:20

you overcook it. Holy cow, it's and

26:22

it's bitter. It's. Unpalatable,

26:25

If. You go too far. Or.

26:27

If you just have it raw. You

26:30

wouldn't do. You know it was only under

26:33

certain circumstances but the same time if you

26:35

roasted in it's karma lies to the. It.

26:38

Is entirely different and

26:41

subtle. And

26:43

so he started to work an

26:45

understanding garlic or or. Or

26:48

garlic being the misunderstood the spice

26:50

and initially even to as adults

26:53

you see okay there's garlic it

26:55

said papery. It's.

26:57

Of leathery. They.

27:00

Say okay, that's network or is garlic.

27:02

You know garlic could be green earth.

27:04

So he ran a know. We just

27:06

started doing dances about dance. And.

27:10

How feels to be misunderstood?

27:13

And it was when. I guess we did make

27:15

some missteps with do is showing garlic cook garlic.

27:18

I didn't realize it as a time but I

27:20

wanted to Canada. That. Was me I

27:22

one to point out that would be or

27:24

cook says. And

27:26

we didn't air those who are gooey.

27:29

We did take the steps back and

27:31

said, okay, wait a second later The

27:33

team reminded me, follow the ceilings right

27:35

sir. Nice. It okay

27:38

would if we sir song and dance

27:40

in in a subtle way that I'm

27:42

not capable love. With this amazing team

27:45

of dancers and singers and writers and

27:47

performers. And

27:49

Puppeteers is a been able to

27:51

do. Would. Have

27:53

for. There. Is a way.

27:56

We. Could create Say. Dance.

28:00

Song and story. To.

28:03

Take girl and and journey he. Did.

28:06

I think our world needs to go

28:08

on a following. no ceilings and so

28:10

we did with have been doing these

28:12

stories of taking garlic or to places

28:14

may be garlic doesn't want to go.

28:17

And. Get as close to her. But.

28:20

Not in a way that insults children,

28:22

obviously more. It's. Even obvious, a lot

28:24

of it's on the nose with since song and

28:26

dance or so that makes and not on the

28:28

nose. I don't even understand some of the stuff.

28:32

But. What would happen if garlic

28:34

stays on guard about every

28:36

saying? Just. Like you. Are.

28:39

A nap place of the. If.

28:41

The world's aggression. If

28:43

they expect you, you know that they're

28:45

turning it against. Use it to make

28:47

you more offensive. But.

28:50

You don't want to make said to have

28:52

last choice to their. Or I

28:54

don't. I can't speak for you. But.

28:57

Reading Garlic down that road and

28:59

saying yes every time. In.

29:01

When I guess validating.

29:05

Of seeing yeah okay okay would have

29:07

you go guard okay would if you

29:09

feel would if you go with these

29:11

feelings sir. In. Seeing

29:13

his folly and insists your garlic

29:15

size mostly and say no way

29:17

to second a can he can.

29:20

Easy. Validate it's. Is.

29:23

Any can see. He. Gets

29:25

sad in the end. You see why.

29:27

Really feel bad for you Garlic? You.

29:30

Followed this friend. Is.

29:33

A get a little bit of misdirect. In

29:36

of Down angry Road or. Keeping.

29:39

An eye on everyone net. And.

29:42

Look where it led now. how

29:44

do we feel about garlic care?

29:47

Oh. Wait, we're we with garlic.

29:49

The whole time we were dancing

29:52

on, following along in. Oh

29:55

we feel a little bit sad to

29:57

said we're We ended up not in

29:59

candy land Know? no no. But.

30:02

There's been no results of

30:04

the. Garlic or

30:06

whatever appearing. But.

30:09

I can feel it in the team. It

30:11

could feel it in me and I can

30:13

feel it in the children are. That.

30:16

There is a response sir.

30:18

And I don't think the adults are change

30:20

his a mine are saying oh no no

30:22

precedent Smith said. It's. Time.

30:26

In. A will take action against the Cn

30:28

will leave the sea and you don't

30:30

turn. In

30:32

our. In it. But the

30:34

funny thing is I guess to me. What

30:37

you've explain to me, Where you explain to

30:39

them as you don't know. You.

30:42

Know there's theories Okay to be this.

30:44

Ring Siri around. Your. Concentric rings

30:46

around big one a tool. But.

30:49

Other geologists is said no no no. No

30:52

it could it it probably will cause any

30:55

bags and other side of the world or

30:57

oh well there's a stick tonic plate theory.

31:00

So. You have people holding on to

31:03

different theories of what would happen

31:05

if. I. Mean every series has

31:07

this impact of getting rid of Big

31:10

Ones, Eight Soul. Will.

31:12

Be you have a good com was

31:14

great costa. That. Everybody's looking

31:16

at it from a different way.

31:19

Because no one knows what'll happen. And

31:23

by they all want you to act

31:25

anyway because he wants you to Actor:

31:27

A To. Say. That's

31:30

what I'm thinking. Garlic is providing

31:32

us right now. But.

31:35

Do you know the world does not want

31:37

to wait to know the air. In.

31:40

Ages. It makes me wonder how you're

31:42

feeling. And I guess you

31:45

have to be stoic and strong. But.

31:48

I have seen you watching more time you

31:50

spend down here in that you or Agis

31:52

sets were my pride came from. It's beginning

31:54

is in your ability to make you be

31:57

a leader. It's.

31:59

ability to or be a join-in

32:01

or a part of and that's

32:04

kind of you know you've been a part

32:07

of the team you've set aside and you've

32:09

even scheduled it as a time because you

32:11

know we've talked about these things obviously

32:15

where you're only a part

32:17

of the Spice Friends production team or the

32:21

big emojis team whatever it is you know

32:23

Spice Friends has kind of taken off where

32:25

the show itself still the

32:27

big emoji show with Spice Friends but you

32:30

know really the Spice Friends are the focus

32:33

so I don't know I mean we've

32:35

talked a lot about it and the

32:39

cost of things and where things

32:41

are going and I

32:43

also know that you have some plan I mean

32:46

by coming here and joining us

32:48

so you know that's part of the plan but it's

32:52

a lot for you to carry you know

32:56

I like watching you dance and sing and

33:00

partake and be a part of

33:02

the team a contributor to the

33:04

team even with your presence and

33:07

I guess yeah just like everywhere else in the world

33:10

there's staff members that have stronger

33:12

feelings about what actions you should

33:14

take but if

33:16

they're participating you know

33:19

they can only you know you know they have to make

33:21

it they have to walk their own path let

33:26

me just take a look at your you're

33:28

knocking at my

33:30

door excuse me

33:33

okay well it's been a

33:35

little while since I've recorded but

33:38

and things have happened you know

33:40

you'd knocked on my door

33:42

during my last recording and

33:44

you know you would said

33:46

okay with these rumors they're

33:49

not rumors anymore because

33:52

it's like we had talked about

33:54

people started seeing garlic spice everywhere

33:58

which we were hopeful about but it wasn't showing

34:00

up on any of our tests and then

34:02

you said there's something showing up. It's

34:06

not from Big One's atoll. It

34:08

was never on Big One's atoll.

34:11

And so he said maybe this is garlic.

34:14

It was in Wetlands areas.

34:16

The signal would go. It

34:19

would disappear. But

34:22

that also started to line up with people seeing

34:25

this new Big

34:28

One, boggy,

34:31

and rising up from

34:33

bogs or swamps. And again,

34:35

those are somewhat isolated areas

34:38

most places in Wetlands. But

34:41

again, when we looked, we said, wait a

34:43

second, these sightings do line up with the

34:45

tests now. And

34:47

some of the views

34:51

people were saying didn't

34:53

exactly, I don't know,

34:56

that it looked different in different places.

34:58

But then we had, I guess

35:01

our first, well the boggy's here

35:03

and it's here in Florida or

35:06

the former Florida. We still called Florida

35:09

though. And

35:11

boggy is, I mean,

35:14

Florida's Wetlands, all Wetlands now,

35:17

but cities in Wetlands and

35:20

boggy's been visiting the cities and it's

35:22

not going good. But then

35:25

vanishing back into the

35:27

Wetlands and occasionally appearing

35:30

throughout the world. And

35:32

again, we said, but now we know,

35:35

the world doesn't know, that there's only

35:37

one boggy. And you

35:39

said, is this fit the manifestation

35:41

theory? Is it manifesting? And I

35:44

said, no, I don't think

35:46

you could manifest twice or demanifest

35:49

and remanifest. But

35:52

obviously, the

35:54

world didn't know that. And they said,

35:56

what if there's multiple boggy's and while

35:58

it's a distraction? It

36:01

was also another impetus for the

36:03

world, other leaders of the world, and I

36:06

guess a large percentage of the populace to

36:08

try to again get you to take action.

36:11

But it was also, as we stayed tuned

36:13

to the feelings of the world, it

36:16

was also this thing of we think

36:19

things have changed. There's

36:23

still that A-N-G-E-R

36:26

in this vigilance and it's kind

36:28

of leading you to be like take action

36:30

or want you to take action.

36:34

But now it changed a little bit

36:36

too because the

36:39

feelings became more and more like frustrated

36:41

with you is a mild way to

36:43

put it. And

36:46

blaming you for not getting rid

36:48

of big ones at all. Kind

36:52

of more of a, like it went from

36:54

a hot to a slow smolder. Like

36:59

I'd say, what people would say would be

37:01

contempt. And

37:04

I saw it around us, even some of

37:06

the staff, like I said, well okay, they

37:08

have their feelings. But if they're focused on

37:10

being part of a team, you

37:13

know, those feelings don't have to be everything for

37:15

them. They can be there. And

37:18

so people were starting to

37:20

feel loathing and blaming and

37:24

frowny faces. So I

37:26

said, okay, well how can we do this with

37:28

garlic? Whether

37:32

garlic appears or not, which

37:35

is really hard, especially with boggy

37:38

appearing and disappearing, but

37:42

becoming more and more frequent in Florida.

37:46

And again, just like you're responsible for the people of

37:48

the world, you're saying, okay, well,

37:51

sooner or later boggy is going to get

37:54

closer to really an area where a lot

37:56

of people live in Florida. about

38:00

that you know we

38:02

actually returned to those cooking lessons

38:05

and talked about garlic. How'd

38:07

you feel about this mistake I made?

38:09

I went on and have been rare

38:11

since I've been on the show and

38:15

I told garlic, I made this mistake I

38:18

thought we would teach people about you because

38:21

you know when you cook it

38:23

was a little bit comedic but

38:25

again with such strange undertone and

38:28

I said to garlic then I said to

38:30

garlic do you know you're not even the

38:33

same as the garlic we eat you're a

38:35

symbol of garlic but you're also a bigger

38:37

symbol but then I

38:39

said how you feeling about all this and garlic

38:41

said not good I feel

38:44

like my temper is rising but

38:47

I also feel a lot of it directed at

38:49

you you know we played this out again played

38:51

it out over sewing and dance I'm trying to

38:53

be as clear as I can because sometimes the

38:57

subtleness of the show I don't

39:00

know this helps me to think it out and

39:02

say is just see where

39:05

I'm missing things because

39:07

when I miss things they're always I'm

39:09

missing the thing that's right on my

39:11

nose you know so we talked to

39:14

garlic about this and

39:16

holding resentment and that

39:18

kind of stuff and again

39:21

where would it go let's head out

39:23

again garlic and

39:26

take me with you but the

39:29

world's fires didn't subside towards

39:32

you but again I felt

39:35

a shift in the children and in the

39:37

staff even the staff's attitudes towards you because

39:39

when you get to the end of those

39:41

roads it's a sad road to go down

39:43

and you really

39:46

can and you say hey

39:48

I keep validating this but also looking at

39:51

it and

39:53

saying okay well if we validate that you're

39:55

feeling this way but we the feelings but

39:58

then say okay well what if you acted

40:00

on that thought. Garlic,

40:05

where would it take you next?

40:08

When you see where those kind of things end

40:10

up, you say, oh, maybe

40:13

I should just let those feelings flow

40:15

through me, because it's sad if I'm

40:17

just controlled by the thoughts and the

40:19

feelings. I don't

40:22

know. So, but what couldn't be denied

40:24

is that finally

40:26

Bhagya had headed inland. What

40:29

do you consider inland in other

40:31

areas? What

40:37

was interesting, though, is Bhagya,

40:40

we thought Bhagya was going to go to one

40:43

of the big cities, and out on the outskirts

40:45

of one of the big cities, is this gigantic

40:48

garden that's been

40:50

maintained for so

40:52

long, and that it's really

40:56

something people

40:58

love. They've

41:00

adjusted it to the

41:02

more wetlands type environments

41:05

over the different few

41:07

decades. But

41:10

something about Bhagya seemed different. Now,

41:12

we had learned by observing Bhagya

41:15

that Bhagya

41:17

was of the

41:20

wetlands and the swamps and the bogs,

41:23

so kind of an amalgamation

41:25

of organic materials. But

41:30

this garden really seemed

41:32

to irritate Bhagya, which

41:35

was interesting with all the way the world

41:37

was feeling that Bhagya seemed really angry

41:40

at this manufactured garden.

41:43

You say, okay, well, maybe it's this

41:46

clash of organic versus

41:49

cultivated garden. Now, of

41:53

course, we were wrong because it

41:55

had been a while since, you know,

41:58

whatever. So Bhagya started clomping around.

42:00

this garden is very

42:02

large. At

42:04

first we didn't even realize it because we said well

42:06

it's not that far outside of the city and

42:09

maybe Bagi's getting ready or maybe

42:12

I don't know. But then

42:14

we saw Bagi make its

42:16

way towards the center of

42:18

this garden where there's this

42:21

giant green stalk towering

42:23

and towering and Bagi was pacing

42:26

around and you seem

42:28

to be yelling with one of those

42:30

sonic things at the stalk and kicking

42:33

at the dirt and we realized that

42:36

with Bagi's digging with the feet

42:40

there seems to be something

42:42

about this green stalk and

42:44

I guess

42:46

none of us ought to analyze it or

42:48

the history of the garden. So how long

42:50

has that stalk been there? What was it?

42:53

But it ended up we would find

42:56

out because Bagi started to pull at

42:58

the stalk and dig around the

43:00

stalk and hit at the stalk and

43:03

then pulled it out of the

43:05

ground and started swinging it and

43:09

our reaction was a bit of concern

43:11

because at the end of this long

43:14

green thing was this

43:16

big clump of earth. We

43:20

said is Bagi like using tools?

43:22

Then go to the history of

43:24

the big ones. The big ones

43:26

use tools not normally but they

43:28

could and they never use

43:30

them for anything other than

43:33

causing property

43:36

damage I guess would be the way to put it. So

43:40

Bagi's swinging this thing around.

43:45

We were all watching. We were getting ready

43:47

to film something and someone said

43:50

what if that's actually garlic and

43:54

we said we garlic is a

43:57

bulb and we did do you

44:00

could say, okay, let's get something on air.

44:02

But what happened as we were, you know,

44:05

we had something ready to go. It

44:07

was in the same thematic place. But

44:11

at the same time, we noticed that suddenly

44:13

the garlic, it was

44:16

garlic, started to wrap

44:18

itself around boggy. And

44:21

then feet, it was long.

44:24

So it wrapped around boggy a few

44:26

times and then started to swing

44:28

boggy. Up over

44:30

a, this garden had these

44:32

giant trees that

44:35

were no longer trees. They were just wood. They

44:39

were trees that had passed to the great

44:42

beyond. But

44:44

the wood was there. It was

44:46

called the empty forest. And

44:49

if garlic threw

44:53

boggy over the tree, so they were

44:55

hanging in counterbalance over this tree off

44:57

the ground, and

45:00

boggy was just writhering

45:03

and trying to

45:05

get some of the garden to grow up, to

45:08

connect, but it was pretty high up. And

45:11

they sat there in the Florida sun for

45:13

some time. They

45:15

said, oh yeah, that's right. This is a lesson

45:17

in garlic. Garlic

45:19

is drying out, but

45:22

garlic was also drying out

45:24

boggy. And

45:26

now, you know, afterwards you realize, wait

45:28

a second, because boggy's power was the

45:30

wetlands in the swamp in the bog.

45:34

Not just the organic material, but

45:36

the water as well. And

45:40

eventually, garlic dried out first.

45:43

Boggy was still resting and

45:45

waiting. And, but

45:49

it was clear also that boggy's, like

45:52

obviously the thing that dried out

45:54

first was the stalk. But

45:58

boggy knew that, so boggy. dropped

46:01

down and on

46:04

its feet and then became this

46:06

giant spice friend just like we

46:08

would have expected a smiling bulb

46:10

of garlic but

46:12

what we didn't expect was boggy kind of

46:15

opened up to catch or

46:19

I'm sorry but garlic garlic

46:21

spice and everybody says

46:23

garlic spice but yeah

46:25

garlic spice caught boggy and shout

46:29

out some of its clothes so

46:31

they could fit boggy in the paper part

46:33

of garlic

46:35

and again

46:38

boggy was a very irritable

46:41

and this part was a bit of a

46:43

back and forth because boggy was trying to

46:45

use the earth and trying to get a

46:47

splash of water but garlic

46:50

seemed to know to just hold and

46:52

this kind of went along with those

46:54

things we were saying okay let's

46:57

see you let's see your

46:59

anger okay yeah let's

47:02

let that play out let's a hold

47:04

it we'll be here

47:06

for you as you get

47:09

more and more irritable and

47:13

a garlic you kind of marched along

47:15

the few dry places you left it's

47:17

the highest point it could get to

47:20

which luckily you know these are giant

47:22

beings so it's not it's like us

47:24

walking across Florida to Georgia and eventually

47:28

getting to the top the highest

47:30

like a driest place

47:33

he could find and

47:35

still letting things dry out and

47:38

air out but holding and smiling

47:40

and you could kind of see

47:42

the boggy was comforted by garlic

47:44

too I don't know and again

47:50

we're still trying to figure out

47:52

why did boggy manifest I mean

47:54

my serious is all the strong

47:56

baguist all the strong feelings people

47:58

are feeling toward you and

48:02

wanting you to act and wanting to

48:04

take away to make you act. And

48:07

then eventually,

48:10

Boggie kind of seemed to really

48:12

be more dried out

48:15

and the garlic

48:18

hopped into the sea and headed

48:20

towards Big Ones Atoll like a

48:23

garlic bulb boat. I

48:29

guess garlic was using its feet

48:31

like a duck and

48:34

just kind of floating along the water. And

48:38

Boggie kind of had the sense this

48:41

was really salty water. So not to

48:43

kind of mean some boggs are brackish,

48:46

but not all boggs are

48:48

brackish. Only brackish boggs

48:50

are brackish. And

48:54

it gave us some time because all

48:56

this unfolded slowly to address it on

48:58

the show and to

49:01

kind of address it in the same themes.

49:03

It's even give it a deeper lesson. What

49:06

do we learn? Oh,

49:08

Boggie sat. Garlic sat with Boggie.

49:10

Garlic held Boggie when Boggie wanted

49:13

to be held or gave

49:16

it a container for

49:18

its feelings. And garlic

49:21

went up to Big Ones Atoll, climbed

49:23

up to the top of that same

49:26

volcano and sat

49:29

in there. And then again before

49:32

our eyes we realized that those

49:35

two had kind of become a

49:37

flowering, I don't know, something. I

49:39

guess I don't know if there's garlic

49:41

flowers, but they're sitting there in the

49:43

plugging the volcano. Though

49:45

I think it went and stopped flowing

49:47

a lot with the cinnamon spice and

49:51

sitting in there. Kind

49:53

of like it's a big pot and the two

49:55

of them are there, but neither one of them

49:57

seems, they seem like just beautiful

50:00

plants again. So

50:03

I don't know. I know we're still

50:05

waiting for the rest of the big

50:07

ones and you know but

50:09

I hope we can rest and say

50:12

hey let me lie here and give

50:16

myself and hold my

50:18

own feelings and I say oh who

50:20

else feels this way can I hold

50:22

their feelings too or can

50:24

I hold some space for them

50:27

because if we run down that road it's a

50:29

little bit sad we don't want to be it's

50:31

okay to feel sad too it's okay

50:34

to be mad but look

50:36

where it go you know let's see

50:39

where it leads us before we let it before

50:41

we're led and I guess that's

50:43

kind of your leadership style to

50:46

President Smith so I hope

50:49

you're getting some rest wherever you're

50:51

here in this and

50:53

I appreciate you I'm proud of you good night.
