The Being Sanctuary podcast provides space and tools to help cultivate health, dignity, and well-being in the face of global suffering of Animals and other Nature. While focusing on those directly involved in Animal rescue and Nature activism, Being Sanctuary welcomes everyone who cares and is dealing with the stress affecting the entire planet.
The podcast is the creation of Lauren Bailey and The Kerulos Center for Non-violence, and provides a common space of gathering and support for like-minded and like-hearted individuals. Being Sanctuary consists of ten sessions, each focusing on one of the 10 Principles of Being Sanctuary, which are grounded and inspired by the practice of nonviolence.
In Being Sanctuary we will discuss each of the principles, what they mean in our lives and how you can take what you learn into the world. With each podcast you are invited to take part in online discussions hosted on the Kerulos Constellation Facebook page. You can also join a live webinar group where we gather to reflect and discuss together the ideas introduced in the podcast. Each session includes take-home exercises, readings, links, and practices.
We do not ask for any fee, but encourage and welcome any donation in appreciation of our offering and to support the residents at The Tortoise and the Hare Sanctuary.
