We are HERE! In the first episode of Black in the Valley, host Shania Accius introduces herself and shares her background as a first-generation American with Jamaican with Haitian roots. She discusses her move from New York to California, the sense of community she longed for,  and how Black in the Valley and her nonprofit organization, Zawadi Cultural Collective, came to be.
