For today's episode we have Shannon Service, an award journalist who has been researching human trafficking in the fishing industry for years. She first broke the story of trafficked fishermen in 2012 on NPR’s morning edition. She is also the director of the film "Ghost Fleet," a movie following a small group of activists who risk their lives on remote Indonesian islands to find justice and freedom for the enslaved fisherman who feed the world's insatiable appetite for seafood.
