A UK Breaking Bad rewatch podcast, presented by Ethan Crane and Talia Ripley.
Like many other people, we watched Breaking Bad the first time around, delighted, emotionally devastated and aghast. Delighted because this was such good television. Devastated because, well mainly for Jesse. And aghast because we knew that television might never be this good again. Which has proved to be the case. Somehow, whenever watching a new television series, we end up saying, ‘well, pretty good, but not as good as Breaking Bad’.
The first time around we would regularly spend a good hour or so after each episode finished, discussing the ways in which the writing and plotting was just so damn good. And so now we’re sitting down to watch it again, and this time record the after-watch discussion, in the hope that others may be interested – and perhaps even join in.
Before you listen, a word of warning. THIS PODCAST CONTAINS SPOILERS ALL OVER THE SHOP. Do NOT listen if you are watching for the first time, if you haven’t reached the end of the final season. This will ruin your Breaking Bad life, and we would feel terrible. Come back here when you want to watch it again and if you feel inclined to listen to two other people talk about why they liked it so much.
(If you're understandably interested in podcasts of more recent programmes, we also have an episode-by-episode podcast of Netflix' The OA, called The Over Analysis.)
