Returning from the club, a drunk Evangeline told Val how she had secretly fed off of Teddy when she was first embraced, a secret that Val was compelled to reveal when Teddy called in the favour she owed him. The next morning, Teddy had left town, seemingly to become kindred himself. Back at the station, Doris told Everett that the Left Hand is nearby, and Everett was reluctant to look for Teddy when they had more urgent priorities.
