Suffice to say, 2020 wasn’t the best of years... far from it. Entering 2021, Vez and Liv didn’t turn over any new leaves as they would have needed a whole forest in order to transform the shit. Remember: you can’t polish a turd and 2020 was a steaming pile of shite. Instead they turned the cynicism up a notch and drained the shit out of 2020, reviewing every little bit of crap they’ve experienced, from chemo to covid to Christmas. The girls’ big mouths might be needing soap and water this week.

For most, New Year’s Eve marks new beginnings, fresh starts and clean slates. For certain cancer patients, it’s a bitter sweet reminder that some things, like compromised health, can’t be sugar-coated and transformed into an optimistic list of resolutions. Not everyone gets to say “new year, new me” and move on; some baggage moves into the next chapter with you. Despite this, Vez and Liv try to shed some of the weight together and continue with less negativity.
