Out of all the upcoming MCU shows that are coming to Disney+, the most exciting one has to be Secret Invasion, which is set to star Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos and adapt the popular and game-changing comic story of the same name. But looking at the current state of the MCU, it’s clear that the TV show will make some massive changes to the source material. Just how will the MCU tell this story? In the comics, the members of the Illuminati were captured by Princess Veranke and her Skrull Empire and studied enough for the Skrulls to successfully infiltrate Earth, replacing such heroes like Electra, Hank Pym and Spider-Woman. Since the Skrulls are basically good guys in the MCU, what does that mean for this storyline? Will Talos and the Skrulls turn against Nick Fury and Earth? Or is there a rogue set of Skrulls out there somewhere plotting to take over Earth?
