1.      Chinabanned all cosmetic products advertisements (including related titles, picturesor details on e-commerce platform) containing the words “Medicated cosmetics”,“Medical skin care products”, “EGF”, “human oligopeptide-1” from Jan. 25, 2019.

2.      SouthKorea released amended Enforcement Rule of the Cosmetics Act and the newEnforcement Rule came into force immediately. The major amendments include:Baby and children cosmetics shall mark or label the content of preservatives onproduct packaging; Soap(solid), black hair powder and hair removal wax arenewly classified as cosmetics; Fragrance allergens shall be labeled on cosmeticproduct packaging.

3.      Australiamade a landmark move to fight against animal testing with the passage of theIndustry Chemical Bill 2017, whichincludes a national ban on the use of animal testing data for new chemicalssolely used as cosmetic ingredients.
