Naperville police are offering self defense classes for women in April. The two classes will be held in Aurora Avenue on April 10th and 12th. The classes are free but you must sign up before hand. Visit the police department's website for more info.

This week a man tried to rob a bank in Schaumburg but failed. Police say the same man is responsible for two other robberies earlier in the month.

The Illinois state board of elections will public hearing on the state’s automatic voting registration system before it takes effect this Summer. The board says this will help the public understand and to answer any questions about implementation.
