The Charlotte Hornets continued their winning streak with games in a row now. Dwight Howard and Kemba Walker led the team to a 113-108 victory over the Bulls. Walker with 31 points and Howard added 24 points. A double double for Bobby Portis who had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Chicago. Zach LaVine added 21 points with 4 rebounds.

 

White Sox prospect Jake Burger has torn his left achilles tendon and will likely be out for the season. The eleventh overall pick fell to the ground running a grounder while facing Oakland. He was likely to geared up to be the White Sox third baseman. He’ll travel to Chicago for surgery soon.

 

The Blackhawks are preparing for their road trip. They start with facing the Sharks in San Jose this Thursday. After visiting the Kings and Ducks, Chicago is back home on Tuesday facing the Avalanche.
