Erika Garcia-Niles is the author of Hacking School Leadership, What Makes Teachers Happy and Why it Matters to Students. She is an experienced educator, clocking in over 25 years in the field. She has a variety of experiences - taught, coached, managed, and now serves her students, staff and community as a principal. 

Erika has won many awards as a teacher, however, it's the relationships in which Erika sees as the highlight of her career. Erika's all about weaving this tight-knit community of students, staff, and families. That's where she finds her real wins.

With her years of know-how, she's all about lifting up her fellow teachers. It's about giving them the tools and support so they can work successfully with the kids. Erika knows that education is all about the students, therefore she believes it is her role to remove the barriers that stand in the way of meeting each student and all students.
