0:27
Here are your hosts, Chris Cameron and
0:29
Ben Harris. Welcome back to ClickFunnels Radio.
0:32
I believe, Ben, this is
0:34
episode number 719. Is
0:37
that right? Almost over 720 of
0:39
these bad boys. We
0:41
recorded and interviewed amazing people. We
0:44
are cranking these out. This is so much
0:47
fun because you never know who you're
0:49
going to meet when you jump on ClickFunnels
0:51
Radio. I'm saying like as a listener, like this is
0:53
fascinating. You get people from all walks of life that
0:55
really can dive in. I think this is a true
0:57
testament that like ClickFunnels can truly be
0:59
used for anything. It's not one of those things where it's
1:02
like, well, hold on, I do this, you know, where I
1:04
dig ditches. Or like we talked about in the last one,
1:06
ClickFunnels isn't for me. Like this is for
1:08
everybody. So I'm super excited
1:10
to introduce our next guest.
1:13
This is Jenna Larson and Jenna
1:16
is the co-founder and coach at GroupTrack
1:18
CRM. This is a tracking and converting
1:20
system for leads from social media, which
1:22
I think is really new and fresh.
1:24
So Jenna, good to have you on
1:26
the pod today. Thank you. I'm a
1:28
huge fan. So I'm really excited to be here. Now,
1:31
hey, I asked if it's okay if I can say
1:33
that you're from SoCal, but you said that's not cool.
1:35
Absolutely not. Southern California. Okay.
1:38
We'll leave the, like the shortening cool
1:40
names to the NorCal people. Or like,
1:42
I like to call them Southern Oregon,
1:44
you know, whatever. Oh,
1:47
I love that. Well, this is kind of
1:49
an interesting story. Like I honestly didn't know
1:51
you hadn't followed you much. And
1:53
this always means a lot. Vince, who is head coach
1:55
on our team, he
1:58
was like, Hey, Chris, you've got. to
2:00
check out Jenna like she'd be a great podcast
2:02
host. But from what I understand,
2:04
you're not currently right now in any of our
2:06
coaching. So tell me kind of how that happened.
2:08
And I think this is maybe why what you're
2:11
doing works. So tell us a little bit about
2:13
that. And then maybe we can get some backstory.
2:15
I always love it. It's like the proof of
2:17
action, right? So really cool, I guess he was
2:20
at an event with inner
2:22
circle folks and talking about what's working. And
2:25
a bunch of them were like, well, we
2:27
use this tool called group track. And so
2:29
he's like, well, what's that? Right? So on
2:31
his own, he kind of found our Facebook
2:33
community. Well, one of the things that we
2:35
believe wholeheartedly is that you should be a
2:37
good human and have connections and build relationships.
2:39
So part of the strategy that we run
2:41
in our Facebook group and that we teach
2:43
our clients is to DM the people who
2:45
join your group and say, Hey, what's up?
2:47
What are you doing? You know, what brought
2:49
you into my online retail store? Just like
2:51
if you walked into someone's brick and mortar,
2:53
someone would greet you and be like, welcome,
2:55
we do that today. Yeah, we do the
2:57
exact same experience in our Facebook community. Right?
2:59
And so I reached out, I was like,
3:01
Hey, thank you so much for coming in.
3:03
I'm the CEO, you know, love to kind
3:05
of, you know, understand what brought you here.
3:07
And he was like, Oh, so he told
3:09
me the whole story. And I'm like, Oh
3:11
my gosh, you don't understand. We're obsessed with
3:13
ClickFunnels. Like that is our main tech stack,
3:15
ClickFunnels plus group track. This is like where
3:17
the magic happens. And so he was like,
3:19
uh, you need to come talk to our
3:21
people. So yeah. And I mean, I think
3:23
it's the beautiful thing, right? Conversations is what's
3:25
going to bring everything together. And it's just
3:27
proof that like one little thing can start
3:30
a huge trickle of amazing results. I
3:32
love that. I mean, what I want to do, I'm going to
3:34
dive into like this kind of integration with
3:37
ClickFunnels and group track and how this works with social
3:39
media and all that. Cause I think that's what people
3:41
are going to love to hear about. But before it's
3:44
always fun on ClickFunnels radio to hear
3:47
just a brief, um, version of your
3:49
story, like your origin story, not like,
3:51
and Russell always jokes, like not like,
3:53
Hey, you know, the year was 1980.
3:56
Exactly. Yeah. So you know, what's your
3:58
journey from. you know, how did you
4:00
come into this entrepreneurial space and come
4:02
up kind of with SaaS like group
4:05
track and social media? How did we
4:07
get here? Yeah, it was
4:09
an accident truly, right? So I had
4:11
a different company which was called Drive
4:14
Performance Coaching where I was coaching online
4:16
business owners how to really retain their
4:18
clients. Like my zone of genius is
4:21
fulfillment, onboarding, service and results, right? So
4:23
I am a coach like I
4:25
used to coach former Olympians and Rowan like
4:27
this is my jam, right? No way. And
4:29
so I had a really awesome company where
4:31
I was teaching all these strategies on like
4:33
really how to work someone through a customer
4:35
journey and keep them buying because we know
4:37
the truth, right? Acquisition is way more
4:39
expensive than retention. And so that's where
4:41
I would really support my clients. Well,
4:43
what was really awesome is that what
4:45
we were teaching was working so well,
4:48
so that they were having so many conversations and so
4:50
many leads and so many clients, but then it actually
4:52
created a problem, which was, I
4:55
cannot possibly keep up with all these things, right? So
4:57
it's like you're driving on the highway and then all
5:00
of a sudden you're like, I didn't follow up with
5:02
Tommy, you know what I mean? And you look bad
5:04
and they don't get served and you're not making money
5:06
and it's a whole thing, right? And
5:08
so we started to have this big problem,
5:10
which was, okay, we need to have a
5:12
system that actually lives where the people are,
5:15
which is on social media, right? Because
5:17
DM messenger, your Facebook group, your
5:19
personal profile, it's a hot mess,
5:22
right? And so it was overwhelming people. And
5:24
I'm like, okay, this is a really good problem
5:26
to have. And so I was
5:28
driving to a holiday party
5:31
almost four years ago, not quite four years
5:33
ago. And I was like, ah, this is
5:35
it. I just need to be building a
5:37
CRM that lives on social media. And so
5:39
I called my client at
5:41
the time, Nathan Jass. I was coaching him on
5:44
a different SaaS that he was running. And I
5:46
was just teaching him how to sell and do
5:48
the things that I did in my company. And
5:50
I was like, Nathan, you must build this for
5:53
me. And he was like, no, it's impossible. I
5:55
cannot do it. No one can do it. It
5:57
won't work. And so I was like, well, that's
5:59
rude. And so I'm like, okay, fine.
6:01
And so continued life. Two
6:04
weeks later, he DMs, meaning
6:06
he's like, oh my God, I did it. I'm like,
6:08
you did what? Thinking he's talking about his own company.
6:10
And he's like, no, I built it. And
6:13
I was like, built what? You hadn't talked to him in
6:15
two weeks. This was like the takeaway sale. It's like, hey,
6:17
you're dating somebody. You're like, I love you. And they're like,
6:19
I'm not that into you. And then two weeks ago, I
6:21
changed my mind. Yeah, yeah. That's what happened to me, by
6:24
the way. You can ask me that later. Yeah,
6:26
so it was crazy. So yeah, about
6:28
almost four years ago, we launched the
6:30
first version of it, which at the
6:32
time was only how to
6:34
manage your Facebook group. So like clicking on
6:37
your members and knowing where they are in
6:39
your sales pipeline. And people
6:41
like lost their mind over it, right? So like
6:43
it blew up. And what's really awesome is we
6:45
get all these crazy entrepreneurs, right? Like we get
6:47
the ClickFunnels clients. We get all the like hardcore
6:50
people that are actually really making money and running
6:52
a business, right? And so it was so cool
6:54
is they're now in our group going, hey, but
6:56
can you build it this way? Can you make
6:58
it do this and this and this and this?
7:01
And so what we would do is we
7:03
would go to Nate, who then became my
7:05
partner, right? What they want and what they
7:07
do. Absolutely, yeah. So what we would do
7:09
is we would then go to Nate, who's
7:11
now my business partner, right? No longer does
7:13
he have that other SaaS because this one
7:16
went crazy, right? So, you
7:18
know, it's the joke now at GroupTrack. We're like,
7:20
hey, Nathan, can you build this? He says no.
7:23
And then he's like, just kidding. I
7:25
mean, there's days where like I'm on a call with
7:27
him and I'm like, I really need it to do
7:29
this. Always answer is no. And then
7:31
sometimes he's like refresh and then it's done.
7:34
I mean, it's crazy, but the beautiful part
7:36
is we have this
7:38
unreal community of people that are
7:40
so part of the journey. And
7:42
so that loyalty and that excitement and just
7:45
like all the things, because they feel like
7:47
they built it with us, which they truly
7:49
did, right? So yeah, we're
7:51
coming up on our four year anniversary
7:53
and we're about to relaunch the entire
7:56
tool. We just invested more money than
7:58
I want to. to
8:00
completely rebuild it. So it's gonna
8:03
be wild. It's so cool. Congratulations
8:05
on that by the way too. That's so
8:07
exciting. Yeah, it's been crazy. We're like,
8:10
who are we? What happened? I don't know. It's
8:12
like an accident, right? But I
8:14
think what makes GroupTrack really magical is
8:16
that we have, you know, Nathan, who
8:18
is a genius developer. And
8:20
then you have me, which is the coach that's
8:22
the practitioner. I'm doing the things that
8:25
we would teach our clients every single
8:27
day. So we're knowing what works, what
8:29
doesn't, so it feeds the tool,
8:31
but also then we coach on, you know,
8:33
what are those strategies for getting clients from
8:35
social media? So kind of have a unique
8:38
partnership here. That's genius.
8:40
Yeah, and I can see GroupTrack, you
8:43
know, obviously being a social media CRM, kind
8:45
of being the trailblazer and carving out the
8:47
easy way. Right, before you do it the
8:49
hard way, now this is the easy way.
8:52
What type of, or I guess you say
8:54
with your current client base in GroupTrack, who
8:57
is using it? Are they coaches,
8:59
consultants? You know, walk us through
9:01
who your typical customer is. Yeah,
9:03
all of the above really. The
9:06
ideal customer for us is someone who
9:08
is using social media as a means
9:10
to get more clients, right? So,
9:12
you know, we have a lot of coaches. That's
9:14
kind of like our main thing. But
9:17
we have chiropractors and, you know, business owners
9:19
like that that are having brick and mortar,
9:21
but really utilize social media. The
9:23
other like really big differentiator with us and
9:25
some of the other tools is they more
9:28
focus on the business page. Our
9:30
tool works using your personal page.
9:32
So, personal DMs, personal, you know,
9:34
profile, your group and such. So, it's
9:37
a little bit different. Some people have
9:39
something. And you think you've had intentionally?
9:41
Yeah, absolutely. Just because why then people like
9:43
are more willing to respond
9:46
via DM or what? Yeah, absolutely. That
9:48
and just like people want to talk
9:50
to the actual human. You know what
9:52
I mean? They want community, they want
9:54
all these things. Business page just isn't
9:56
built to support that. And
9:59
so everybody was. So
34:00
like that's today you can get the integration
34:03
soon. I'm sure Nate will be
34:05
like, I can't do that, but then it will be
34:07
done. And I already know it's already being worked on
34:10
and he's probably like 90%, but like this is
34:12
a really, really big deal because we
34:14
have so many ClickFunnel users that are like, would you
34:17
please? And we're like, you know, it's been no for
34:19
a long time. Anyway, so to
34:21
get group track, right? You can
34:23
go to www.grouptrackcrm.com. You're
34:28
welcome to join our Facebook group as
34:30
well. It is called something. I just
34:32
changed the name the other day. I
34:34
think it's like social organic strategies or
34:36
whatever because the truth, Howard by group
34:38
track, because the
34:40
truth is, right? You don't have
34:42
to, you know, use ads to
34:44
get this result, right? You
34:46
can actually build out your organic strategy
34:49
using group track plus ClickFunnels. And then
34:51
once you've, you know, validated the offer
34:54
and your sales skills and your group,
34:56
then we scale with ads. Like again,
34:58
like we collect over a million
35:00
and we haven't even scaled with ads yet. That's
35:02
next step, right? Like now that we have the
35:04
integration with ClickFunnels, we're going to rock and roll.
35:07
Love it. I love that. Yeah, that's so cool.
35:10
And even us on our side, shameless
35:12
plug, we'll be using group check
35:15
and all of our affiliate Facebook groups, you
35:17
know, and our main one as well. Obviously
35:19
the ClickFunnels official group, but there's been, it's,
35:21
we're like 60 days into it now. I'm
35:23
sure guys like Chris are tired of me
35:25
yapping about it, but we've been undergoing a
35:27
huge construction effort with almost kind of like
35:30
deconstructing our Facebook group and down to the
35:32
stilts. And we're starting with all of our
35:35
members, a lot of admin assist stuff starting
35:37
from zero. There's no post in this Facebook
35:39
group. It's still paused, soon
35:41
to be unpaused with a video from
35:43
a guy who had this idea a
35:45
long time ago, but his name is Russell. So
35:47
we'll be coming in kind of talking about what we're doing with
35:49
it. So it's very exciting. It's so cool.
35:52
And that's the coolest thing, right? Like, you know,
35:54
I get a lot of messages like, oh, my
35:56
group's dead. I'm like, well, let's revive it. Like
35:58
just implement a strategy follow-up, serve people.
