Tim Lieuwen Tim Lieuwen is Regents’ Professor, David S. Lewis Jr. Chair, and executive director of the Strategic Energy Institute at Georgia Tech. His interests lie in the areas of clean energy and propulsion systems, energy policy, acoustics, fluid mechanics, and combustion. Lieuwen’s passion for automobiles and energy began when he was a teenager repairing cars as a small business. He believes we are at a historical crossroads with regard to energy sources and policies, and emphasizes Georgia Tech’s role in the transition.	Guest
Maurice Hobson Dr. Maurice J. Hobson is a historian, author, and social scientist. He is Assistant Professor of African-American Studies at Georgia State University.Dr. Hobson's first book, "The Legend of the Black Mecca: Politics and Class in the Making of Modern Atlanta," was published in 2017.Dr. Hobson received his B.A. in History and African American Studies from the University of Alabama, his M.A. in American Studies and African-American Studies from The University of Alabama, and his Ph.D. in History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
