Today’s episode tackles an important question. Can you really, actually, truly build a business you really love? Building a business requires hard work and anybody saying otherwise is not giving you the full picture.

Our guest Tara Rhodes came into today’s episode wondering what happens when you realize that the business you’re building isn’t the business you want anymore. Tara is committed to helping quiet rebels who feel stuck in the middle be willing to look at their stuff so they can figure out who they want to be in the world. And over the last year and a bit, Tara has realized that a traditional coaching model isn’t the model for her anymore. So, the two of us had to rethink what it means to build a business you really love.

And here’s the cool part…in the beginning, Tara really did not think that she could create a business model that lights her up while still being profitable. But when we tapped into the experience she wants to have inside her business and designed a model from that place, she began to really believe that it is possible to build a business she loves. We started by simply asking the question “what is it you truly love?” And that opened the doors to a whole new vision for Tara and her business. The end result? No more coaching. Instead, Tara plans to launch a podcast to build a subscription community that feels a lot like summer camp. You’ll understand why as you listen in.
