In this episode of Community Health Radio, we talk to Deborah Maragopoulos, a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in neuro-immune-endocrinology.  Also known as the Hormone Queen, Deborah became an expert in gender identity, hormones and DNA after the birth of her intersex child.  Deborah is a well respected care provider to the LGBTQ community.

In our interview, Deborah talks about the choices she had to make after the birth of her intersex child.  We also discuss how hormones affect gender identity and some of the myths that still exist in this field.  Deborah also provides advice for parents who may be in a similar situation.
