Today's guest is Mary Blackford, Founder of Market 7 DC, which is a soon to be open food hall and lifestyle area.  This is being started because she along with the community recognized that this area is a food apartheid.  

The title, bring back the 16 years comes from average death rate of these underserved areas.  Residents tend to live 16 years less than their counterparts in the more affluent areas of the city.  Market 7 is looking to reverse this trend.
