In this episode Claims Manager, Melissa Leos, discusses a case where an eye surgeon goes above and beyond typical requirements to disclose to his patient a prior medical condition which then leads to a claim of malpractice against the surgeon.  She then discusses how the existence of this situation impacted the surgery center where the physician was performing the surgery, and what the surgery center could have done to help limit their liability.
