In this twenty-eighth episode of the Detention to Redemption podcast, I talk to James Fields from Cullman, Alabama. James is a former Alabama State Representative, Kairos prison ministry volunteer and the current pastor at St. James United Methodist Church in Irondale, Alabama. James shares with us his love for the incarcerated and the necessity for criminal justice and prison reform. He has spent many years volunteering inside of prison and has a passion to see men change and embrace Jesus as their Savior. Sadly our prisons chapels are full of changed men and the lack of criminal justice reform won’t allow them another chance. James is a veteran in prison ministry and you will be blessed by this interview!
