This episode is truly something special. The way Lou and Brennan interact when diving into Kingston Brown's past is truly something to marvel at. Brennan Lee Mulligan is an extraordinary DM, and his ability to do subtle callbacks (ie. Having Kingston's admittance counselor use the phrase "You could be making hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars; I mean, that's hyperbole" directly mirroring Kingston's line in the very first episode when discussing Dr. Lugash's practice, "That man could work in a hospital like this and walk away with hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars...I'm speaking in hyperbole, as they say.") even up to 8 episodes later is incredible! The rest of the cast, Emily, Murph, Siobhan, Zac, and Ally are all exceptional improv actors and their hard-earned skill is wildly evident in every episode, and their commitment to their characters (even when the decisions made may not be the smartest) results in a deeply immersive experience that I could not have seen coming from a comedic actual play show.
