This week on Discover the Hustle Podcast we talk about the Wisconsin Innovation Awards that we recently attended. Shoutout to ActiveEDU for taking home the Innovation Award for the Education category! The importance of this episode is the discussion we have about ordinary people. Steve Hannah, the former CEO of The Onion, was the keynote speaker at the event. He spoke on different lessons learned from his mother. One of our favorite takeaways was the fact that you can learn from everyone and that everyone has an interesting background. No matter whether they're a celebrity or just your neighbor, there is something interesting going on in their lives. Steve taught us that it's important to just talk with people and figure out what that interesting thing(s) is.
