She left for college to attend CU Boulder and majored in geography and anthropology. She subsequently went on to earn a Master’s degree in physical anthropology. With a long-held passion for animal care, she began working in veterinary medicine after graduation.A painful cancer diagnosis in her own dog catalyzed a desire to be a veterinarian. She went back to school to complete the necessary coursework to apply to veterinary school. She attended Colorado State University and became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She had both of her two beautiful baby girls during her education there.She lives in Boulder, CO, with her two daughters and husband.
