His daring plan will place everything and everyone he loves in the path of a brilliant, unstoppable killer.Critic Reviews:"If you thought that stalking a killer on the Internet had been done to death in books and bad movies, this one will have you pushing the reload button on your browser." (Amazon.com review)"While Cole's obsession over this guilty secret makes him less than likable at times, a nailbiting climax erases any doubts about his character-and any lingering questioning about the storytelling abilities of Iles, who here uses rich first-person narration and clever plotting to tell a sizzler of a thriller." (Publishers Weekly)Members Reviews:Sick but GreatI was thinking about not downloading this book due to some of the reviews but preious books by Greg Iles told me to go ahead with it. I was not wrong on going ahead with it. Some of the subject matter and graphic description were disconcerting but I felt totally relevant to the entire story. I like detail in a book and Greg Iles provides that and you came to know the principle characters pretty well. All of that helps the entire book in my estimation. I had never heard Eric Dove as a narrator either but he did a fine job on this. I have no intention of giving away the story line. I just recommend it. A Lot!!!! The killer is a mind bender and does it well. I'm not sure I will read this one again in the future though. Some of it was truly mind boggling and makes you stop and think about the computer world we live in today that can cause extreme harm to people. The whole book was good but the last few hours of this book caused me to shut off my phone and get on with it. It's worth listening to in my estimation.Held my attention!I have to admit it, the man can write! This one held me until the end. I loved all of the characters (loved to hate a couple of them!) and the plot had plenty of twists. My husband and I both listened to this one and both thoroughly enjoyed it. One caveat- please read the premise of the book. If you are offended by sex in audiobooks, or hate dark murder mysteries, don't download this one.
