I'm a fan of the games and have always admired the efforts made by the developers to faithfully recreate historical settings and cultures. I wouldn't expect individuals who are not interested in the AC series to be piqued here, however the focus of this podcast is on the real history and how it deviates from that depicted in the games. I think it's pretty cool that Ubisoft not only works hard to make historically accurate (ish) action games but also pays podcasters and historians to point out when, how, and why their depictions fall short of reality.
