Dr. M. Hancock lives in Columbia, SC and has been married to Antoine M. Hancock for 25 years. They have 3 lovely daughters; Alexus S. Hancock who attends the University of South Carolina; Alyah Hancock who attends Winthrop University and Myah Hancock who attends Dutch Fork High School. Dr. M. Hancock graduated from the University of South Carolina with a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction in May 2015. Her dissertation is entitled “Exploring the role of School Improvement Councils (SICs) regarding extracurricular programming in a rural South Carolina high school”. She attended South Carolina State University for undergraduate and graduate school in 1994 and 1996 respectively. Dr. Hancock has been teaching for 13years and has received her National Board Certification in 2009. Dr. M. Hancock, grew up with my mother and father who affirmed to all 13 children that there is a higher authority, God. Her mother taught her that everything and everyone has a purpose. Her mother inspired her to do the best that she can at anything she put my hand to do. She is a veteran that served in the U.S. Army and fought in Operation Desert Storm in 1990. She is a writer and published her first book entitled: What to do when: From Spiritual Fulfillment to Self-Fulfillment Nothing Missing published in 2006. Her second book is entitled: I’m Screaming: Can You Hear Me, published in 2016.
