Jesus brought new wine to earth and that new wine was a new way of doing things, a new way to live, and a new way to love. Is God trying to teach you something new? Are you willing to embrace the expansion that is needed in your heart for this new thing God wants to do in your life?

Possible Discussion Questions:

1. What kind of wineskin are you - Are you naturally flexible/pliable or rigid and resist change?

2. What does holding onto an old wineskin really giving you?  What is it really costing you?

3. Where do I feel “stretched” or “thin” like God is attempting to put new wine into my old wineskin? In other words, what is a new wineskin the Lord is asking you to put on?

4. What do you believe was the new wineskin the Lord gave the Church in 2020?

5. Why is change so hard for us, especially with church and spiritual things?

6. For those that have been Christians a long time do you feel your spiritual best years are behind you or in front of you?
