It’s the finale of the illness of Kermit from the Muppet Show! Yaayyyyyy!!!!!11111! *flailing arms*

This is a part 2 edition of last week’s comically tragic Muppet story. As a recap, Jim Henson’s son Brian Henson released a new movie last month called The Happytime Murders, which is a very dark comedy set in a very Muppet-esque universe. So anyway, long story short, the younger Henson really gravitated to more R-rated puppet humor over the years.

So we at Fanfiction Nation thought, “are there any darker Muppet-centric fanfics on the internet worth sharing with the world?” Well, yes. Yes, there are!

We present to you Part *2* of “Saving The Dream,” written by Nirai Syrith. The premise? Kermit has a tragic illness and he’s stuck in the hospital. What will the Muppet gang do?? And will Kermit live?? All your favorites are in this — Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo, Miss Piggy, Rowlf (proudly voiced as though he’s been a lifelong chainsmoker), Scooter, and even Pepe, that newer prawn muppet Pepe that nobody likes.
