Carmenia is a teacher of Spanish as a second language and an artist. For all her life, she's been exploring different ways to comunicate, express herself and evolve in life. She speaks fluent spanish, english and portuguese. She mayor in Advertising and PR, and before becoming a teacher she spend 5 years working as a graphic designer. Eventhough she was born and risen in madrid, she have lived in Portugal, UK, Dallas and now she is based in Alicante. She's the creator and host of Carmenia en Dallas, Recomienda Podcast and Viva la Lengua. As an artist she's exhibited her work in Germany, Australia, England and Wales. As a podcaster she has been a regular in Porqué Podcast (for two years) that gave her the honor to recieve two awards from the Spanish Asociation of Podcasting. She has colaborated in different spanish podcast such as Fans Fiction, El Camarote de los Marx, La Constante or La mesa de los Idiotas. She has been the organizator of 2019's XeQuePod, a podcasting event held in Alicante, Spain. She is a member of Alipod (podcasting asociation) and with them she has volunteered in 2017's Jpod event and created podcasting contents in Proyecta Alicante '17 festival.
