The DFS Studio is brought to

to the Fantasy Footballers DFS and
0:51
Betting Podcast with your hosts, Kyle
0:54
Borgannoni and Matthew Betts.
1:02
Welcome in. We're
1:04
back. It's the day after Christmas on
1:06
the Fantasy Footballers DFS and Betting Podcast.
1:09
I'm your host, Kyle Borgannoni, and I am
1:11
joined. As always, by Matthew, looking
1:14
a little bit Christmas pudgy Betts. Dude,
1:17
Christmas just kicked me in the butt this year. I
1:20
was going to compliment you on your intro. You seem
1:23
very upbeat, full of energy. You must have had
1:25
enough caffeine to start the day. I'm
1:28
dragging, man. I just
1:30
feel like the holiday hangover is here. I'm
1:32
going to need probably three or four cups of coffee today instead of
1:34
two. So, oh man, but hey,
1:37
we're on a championship week. I know you got a
1:39
couple of teams that you're sweating. And,
1:42
you know, the Eagles don't stink anymore, or kind of.
1:44
So it's all good over here. Okay,
1:47
so if you are prepared for week 17,
1:49
you're a liar. You are just
1:51
a liar because this entire
1:54
past week should have kicked your butt. Christmas
1:56
should have kicked your butt of just everything.
2:00
thing that it is, you know, as a holiday
2:03
family get togethers, but then football,
2:05
you know, getting to sweat out that 49ers game. I mean,
2:07
I was just, just terrified
2:10
the entire time of Debo going, I like
2:12
one Debo touchdown would have changed my week,
2:15
but I made
2:17
it into, in my home league, I made
2:19
it into the finals thanks to one Christian McCaffrey,
2:21
who, he good, just
2:24
confirming he's good. He's very good at his
2:26
job. He'll get really good, a
2:28
really good year of you, which
2:30
I hope you and I do as well. But
2:33
yeah, man, I'll give you a little,
2:35
just a quick little story. I texted Betz about
2:37
this, but yeah, I mean,
2:39
I'm exhausted, just plain exhausted
2:42
from this weekend because I got a
2:44
surprise little, little hello on Saturday.
2:47
So right before Christmas Eve, my
2:49
son and I took him to the ER. He
2:52
had one of those ran into a pole
2:55
kind of thing as he was playing with some friends. And so
2:57
yeah, I was just there comforting my
2:59
son in the ER, like
3:01
all Saturday. And then
3:03
so yeah, my DFS lineups did not
3:05
look great after I looked at
3:07
nothing, like all through Saturday night and then Sunday
3:09
morning, I'm like, crap, I'm done. I'm
3:11
not doing this. Yeah, man, it was, it
3:14
was wild. We had the in-laws here all
3:16
day Saturday and actually Friday afternoon slash evening
3:18
as well. And then we were
3:20
at my folks all day Sunday to celebrate with the family. So
3:23
I wasn't able to kind of sit down and give the attention
3:26
that I normally do. So yeah, I backed off volume a
3:28
little bit this week. Definitely
3:31
tried to play more on Monday, just because it was kind of a slower
3:33
day for me and my family, which was good,
3:35
which was fine. I love those three game
3:37
slates, but yeah, man, hope your son is
3:40
doing better. I'm sure the family Christmas photos
3:42
this year are going to be memorable for
3:44
obvious reasons. Trim
3:46
and my youngest doesn't understand like, why do you still
3:49
have a black eye? Like why is it still like,
3:52
why is it still like that? He
3:54
like figured that he would feel better. I
3:57
know. So how many, but yeah. We've
4:00
gotten through it as a family. How many things did
4:02
he have to get? I think it was eight. Oof.
4:06
It was, I mean, it was massive. Anyway, it's
4:08
one of those things as a parent where you're
4:11
like, I will take that hit for you. I will
4:13
do it if you would let me. But yeah,
4:15
it was tough to hear him coming
4:18
in screaming. As,
4:21
anyway. So, looking on a
4:23
DFS, you and I are gonna get to look
4:25
at the week 17 slate and it is a
4:27
big mama. I feel like the way
4:29
that we've talked about DFS over the last two months
4:32
has been, oh, these teams are on by, or,
4:34
oh, this is a smaller slate. We've got nine
4:36
games, we've got 10 games. This
4:39
is a 13 game slate that you get in
4:41
week 17. And remember, the
4:43
people that are still around, still playing DFS
4:45
with you, there are no
4:47
people farting around with like,
4:49
oh, I'll just throw in some money in my head to head. It's
4:52
like, people playing right now are still in it and they
4:54
still love it. So, before
4:56
we get into this, I just wanted any quick advice
4:59
before we dive into week 17, like volume wise. Do
5:01
you think people should hold onto their money
5:04
for playoffs, like play a little less volume? Cause
5:06
I mean, we're also getting towards new years. I just,
5:09
I caution people to
5:11
think that we're at the very end and
5:13
they could just, you know, spin whatever they have in their bankroll where
5:15
it's gonna be a tough week. It
5:18
will be. However, when you think about the
5:20
playoff slates, I like them just because
5:22
it's a different game. You know, when there's only four
5:24
games on a weekend or three or two when we
5:26
get to championship weekend, you know,
5:29
the smaller the slate size, honestly
5:31
harder it is to win and harder it is
5:33
to play smartly. You just kind of have to
5:35
create unique lineups and you know, hope that some
5:37
of the chalk fails, you know, and get there
5:39
that way. So it's more of a game theory
5:41
play versus on these 13, you
5:44
know, 12 game slates. You can kind of
5:46
pick and choose your spot. So this is kind of one
5:48
of my favorite weeks of the year, this one and next
5:50
week, where we still have these huge slates that we can
5:52
really kind of identify players who
5:54
are not being played enough by the field for tournaments
5:56
or really easily, maybe not
5:58
really, but easily. to identify
6:01
the top cash plays. So I still think there's an edge this
6:03
week and next week if you're willing
6:05
to kind of put in the time and kind of sift through everything,
6:07
but it's a monster, man. I
6:09
mean, and again, the NFL doing us no favors
6:12
with a ton of early window games and only
6:14
a couple in the late window, which I hate
6:16
when they do that. But that's the way it
6:18
goes, dude. We just gotta diagnose the slate and
6:20
go from there. All right, let's look
6:22
at our cash picks. ["The Game
6:24
of the Year"] Straight
6:27
cash, homie. We're reviewing this
6:29
past week, reviewing what we had in
6:32
our best plays. Justin Fields
6:34
was the one that you and I were most confident
6:36
on and I'm glad we did. Joe
6:38
Flacco ended up having a great week too,
6:41
but Fields was a play that we just
6:43
said, "'Hey, you need this in cash.'" And
6:45
roughly 50% of the field was playing him.
6:48
I think one of the harder parts was
6:50
running backs and figuring out where there was
6:52
an edge. So like, Breeze Hall was in
6:54
the mix, but I personally was not strong
6:57
enough on him. I was more on Garrett
6:59
Wilson on that side. So I missed the
7:01
cash line by one and a half points, Betts, in
7:04
double ups. Merry Christmas to you. I
7:06
know. I did think
7:08
it was an extremely difficult running back slate, especially
7:11
when we got the news that Alexander Madison was going to
7:13
play. He didn't really play.
7:15
He had two opportunities, obviously not 100%. So
7:17
it was the Ty Chandler backfield, but
7:19
that game kinda got away from
7:22
the Vikings somewhat quickly against the
7:24
Lions. So it was tough, man. I mean, at
7:26
the top you had Rashad White and Jonathan Taylor,
7:29
who I thought was kind of a
7:31
coin flip as far as which one you play. Those
7:33
guys were in the mix. And then, yeah, Breeze Hall smashed,
7:35
like he said. I was with you. I played Garrett Wilson
7:37
in cash. I did not play Breeze Hall and definitely felt
7:40
that because he was kind of a popular play. So Breeze
7:43
Hall went bonkers. He basically had like a wide receiver
7:45
stat line. He had like 12 catches for 96 yards
7:47
or something crazy. So the commanders,
7:49
dude, they'll give it up to everyone. But yeah,
7:51
tough week. I thought for cash, as far as
7:53
that decision tree kinda goes, I
7:55
will say the sleepbreakers, for
7:57
once, we both hit on them. Thank goodness. We
8:00
did not say Mark Cooper, which Joe
8:02
Flacken for president, but Justin Fields
8:04
smashed, Mike Evans was great. So it was a fun week
8:06
for tournaments, I thought. No, it
8:08
was funny looking at my large field where I
8:10
had some great calls where
8:13
like I played Mike Evans
8:15
because you talked about him with Calvin
8:17
Ridley. So that's four touchdowns between those
8:19
guys. I had Justin Jefferson in the mix.
8:23
I even had Kyle Pitts, who I talked about on his
8:25
podcast about the Falcons tight ends being a good play. And
8:27
I was like, sweet. And then when you look
8:29
up and it's like, if you don't have a Mark Cooper or
8:31
Breeze Hall on a tournament lineup, you
8:33
were probably, there's no chance that you were going to make good
8:35
money on it. So it was an interesting
8:38
slate because early on it
8:42
looked like the Browns weren't just going to go off.
8:44
Like in that first quarter, it looked like kind of
8:46
a dud game. And then all of a sudden you
8:48
look up, it's like, oh, Mark Cooper has 200 yards. Okay.
8:52
Well, if you don't have him, you're done. So
8:54
it was overall a good slate, but I wanted
8:56
to highlight a couple of people, a couple
9:04
of people that gave us
9:06
some shout out, some of these on discord, some
9:08
of them on Twitter. First one's from Brandon Watkins.
9:11
Going to shout out my dudes, Kyle and Betts
9:14
for this one. I couldn't have done it without their wisdom
9:16
DFS. You guys have taught me so much, the DFS pass
9:18
and the pod. Keep up the amazing
9:20
work. DFS pass for life. Give
9:23
me them baby back ribs, which was
9:25
easily the best part. Chili's
9:29
just showing up once again. You
9:31
want to highlight anybody else that we have in the
9:33
doc? Well, Brandon, I have some news for you, my
9:35
friend. With your winnings, which is
9:38
a four figures amount here, you might
9:40
be able to buy a Chili's franchise instead of just the
9:43
ribs with the stock there,
9:46
anywhere things are going. But awesome to see.
9:48
And then, man, I was excited. People, you
9:50
know, when we get to this time of year,
9:52
like everyone's so focused on, of course, if you're listening
9:55
to this show, DFS, but also we all play in
9:57
dynasty leagues and home leagues and stuff like that.
9:59
So everyone's sweating. putting this in the finals to get to the
10:01
finals. Meanwhile, we have these best
10:03
ball sweats going too, and there was a bunch of
10:05
people in Discord that highlighted that.
10:07
We have Brandon Ayukin is the Discord
10:10
handle going off to the DK
10:12
Milly finals, which is really fun. Bunch
10:14
of other people getting through some huge prizes to go
10:16
to the finals. So best ball season, you know, it's
10:18
really fun when you kind of put in so much
10:20
work throughout the off season, literally from
10:22
like May to August, and then you
10:24
just kind of forget about it, right? And then you get to December
10:26
and you're like, okay, let's see where we're at. So very fun to
10:29
see for everyone. Congrats to everyone that had a good weekend. There
10:31
was a bunch of people too that did really well on
10:34
the Saturday slate. So good stuff all around in the DFS
10:36
pass. Yeah, and I
10:38
forget sometimes that the DFS pass,
10:42
like we let that thing out in
10:44
June with our best ball primer. It's
10:46
like, why are we giving that away? Like
10:49
for no extra costs. That's just that, once
10:51
again, very stupid marketing idea from the people
10:53
that are in charge of DFS here. Do
10:55
you know who those people are? Can I
10:57
talk to them that are in charge of DFS for
11:00
our company? Yeah, please. And I'd like to also schedule
11:02
a meeting. Yeah, okay. So you
11:04
and I are gonna have an off season meeting with
11:06
ourselves to talk about why we're doing this. But
11:09
yeah, great value DFS pass, dfspass.com
11:11
about to come out with some playoff
11:13
content if you want to roll with
11:16
us and be a part of that.
11:18
So dfspass.com, let's move on. State
11:24
of the main slate. Each
11:26
week, we refer to the DraftKings Sportsbook
11:28
lines where Betts and myself play. You
11:31
can go to sportsbook.draftkings.com and we're gonna
11:33
preview this 13 game slate. But
11:35
I did want to use this as a, I
11:38
don't know if it's a teaching point, but more of to
11:40
talk about the MVP race and
11:42
how things change drastically on Monday night.
11:45
You and I, I feel like over the last
11:47
month I've mentioned this that whoever is
11:49
the favorite at the moment,
11:51
I think the public just says, oh, well, this is
11:53
what's gonna happen when in one game
11:55
you saw Brock Purdy, throw four interceptions.
11:57
Now some of those were tip passes, but. the
12:00
public perception change so much that now
12:02
he's in I believe fifth
12:04
place. I'm looking
12:06
on draftings right now it's Lamar
12:09
at minus 160 CMC
12:11
at plus 400 to a 10 to
12:14
one and then Brock 12 to one. Can
12:17
you, is there any value of
12:19
so we still have two weeks and every week
12:22
I asked this question and I feel like every
12:24
week there has been value on the board that
12:27
the public feels too overconfident. So Lamar's
12:29
the hotness after this past week Baltimore
12:32
rolled. They have a game
12:34
against Miami that they could certainly lose and when
12:36
you look at just the way
12:38
that the AFC is pictured like Miami wins
12:40
that game they are now the number
12:42
one seed. All right. And you know I
12:46
just I hate how fast
12:48
things change in the market.
12:50
And so I never bet favorites. I
12:53
only sprinkle you know whoever's in third or
12:55
fourth. So is there any value you're seeing
12:57
on the board as of this Tuesday. I
13:00
think it's a good reminder too that these markets and this is what
13:02
we talked about in the offensive player of the year defensive player
13:04
of the year come back players stuff like that. These
13:06
are not you know
13:08
algorithmic based with historical
13:10
data and whatever else like someone sets these
13:12
lines as if they think this is what
13:14
it should be. It's not like size and
13:16
totals where we have a huge amount of
13:18
data that it's so hard to
13:21
beat. These are just so sensitive to a
13:24
week to week thing. Literally last
13:26
night I don't know why books do this. They actually
13:28
hang the lines while the games are going on like
13:30
Lamar's odds are moving by each quarter. So
13:33
if you're plugged into that stuff you can get a little
13:35
edge I think. But it's just it's it's not something we
13:37
should take as fact like Kyle said when you see minus
13:39
160 for Lamar on your left. Well it's definitely him. Now
13:42
I will say if they beat the Dolphins
13:44
this weekend. I think it's
13:47
his award I think. Yes. So I do think that that's
13:50
probably right as far as he should be favored but I'm
13:52
not going to bet that I have
13:54
Lamar from earlier in the offseason so I'm excited about it. But
13:56
I don't see it's on a value. I guess
13:59
you could talk me into. maybe a little
14:01
Josh Allen just if the
14:04
Dolphins win this week and the
14:06
Bills rattle off two wins and
14:08
end up with a better
14:10
seed than anyone thought three, four, five weeks ago.
14:13
So that maybe to me is okay, but I mean really,
14:15
at this point, I don't think there's much value on the
14:17
board. I don't
14:19
mind CMC because
14:22
nobody would, well, I always don't
14:24
mind CMC, always. Let's be honest. We get
14:26
to talk about it on this slate. Here's
14:30
what I can say. So they play Washington at home.
14:33
He'd be highest team applied total of the week. It
14:36
would not shock me if Christian McCaffrey gets
14:38
three touchdowns, leads me to a fantasy
14:40
title, but that
14:42
note aside, but let's say he
14:45
gets three touchdowns. Let's say Lamar loses, okay?
14:47
Loses this game. Who should be the favorite
14:49
at that point? Ah,
14:53
man, probably CMC, but this
14:56
goes against everything I know because we just tell
14:58
people all the time, don't bet running backs, why?
15:00
I agree. I don't know, man.
15:03
I agree. Now to his counting stats
15:06
are not great. Like they're not as
15:08
great as you think. Lamar's are not as great as you
15:10
think. Purdy, I'm not
15:14
saying he's done, but that
15:16
kind of public moment on
15:19
Christmas night, like that sticks with people and
15:21
sticks with voters. So I just think that
15:23
Christian McCaffrey is close enough that if
15:25
you're getting, I saw plus 400. Is
15:27
that what's he at right now? That's what I see on DK.
15:29
I haven't really shot the lines yet. I
15:31
don't mind sprinkling that because would it shock you if
15:33
he had two touchdowns? No,
15:36
not against this Washington team.
15:38
Yeah, and San Francisco still can
15:40
get that one seed and
15:43
Baltimore could falter. It's
15:45
just, to me, it feels like if
15:48
I'm gonna take somebody here and I know it's
15:50
not a quarterback, I
15:52
think he has a great chance to do it.
15:54
So sprinkle a little bit. The only pushback on
15:56
the CMC for MVP thing is
15:58
how does he not win offensive. of the year
16:00
at this point. And so do
16:02
voters double dip with MVP and
16:05
offensive player of the year? I
16:07
get that. Usually not. Not that it
16:09
can't happen, it just historically does not happen. And
16:12
part of that is sort of the quarterback running back wide
16:14
receiver thing where it's like it's always a quarterback for MVP
16:16
so they're never gonna double dip from offensive
16:18
player of the year because they'll give it to a running back or wide receiver. So
16:21
that's just something I'm thinking through. But man,
16:24
what a wild season. And you can
16:26
make an argument for any of these
16:28
guys, right? Lamar, Tua, Purdy, Josh
16:31
Allen, CMC. So I think if there
16:33
ever was a year where it's not a quarterback, this is
16:35
the year. Yeah, and we've
16:37
seen that whoever's been
16:39
the lead in the moment, it feels like a
16:41
lock. Or not a lock, but at least like
16:44
this guy's trending in the right direction. Dak was
16:46
like, oh, well, it's gonna be Dak. He's
16:49
just been on fire. It's not gonna
16:51
be Dak. I can tell you right now, it's not gonna
16:53
be Dak. Oh, come on. I'm
16:56
sorry, man, that ticket. But Lamar, you know I'm
16:58
always down with betting on the more. Yeah. Never
17:00
goes wrong. All right,
17:03
let's talk about this 13 game slate
17:05
because this changes things a little bit. We talked about
17:07
that at the top. We have a
17:09
Thursday night game, which is the Joe Flacco
17:11
revenge game, which is, right
17:14
now, would you say that's like the best story
17:16
in the NFL? Sit down, Tommy DeVito,
17:19
no one cares anymore? Dude,
17:21
it's gotta be Flacco. And it's just like, not
17:24
that they're like having them out there to attempt
17:26
28 passes a game and manage it. It's
17:29
his team. And he's played incredibly well.
17:31
He is, by the way, second
17:33
to DeMar Hamlin for comeback player of the year. And
17:37
DeMar Hamlin's story is awesome. But
17:40
he's a special teams player who's been
17:42
inactive most weeks. Joe Flacco's me
17:44
is. He's out of the public, it's
17:46
the public picture of
17:49
what happened, which we're basically at a year of
17:51
when it happened, incredible story. So not take anything
17:53
of that away. But just like, Joe
17:55
Flacco was on his couch a month ago. And
17:57
DeBrown, they have a path.
18:00
to the one seed. It's kind
18:02
of unlikely, but there is a path to it. And
18:05
they're probably going to win this week, don't you think? I
18:07
mean, there's seven and a half point favorites, 11 wins
18:10
for a Joe Flacco led team sit
18:12
down to Sean Watson. I mean, that's worth a bet to
18:14
me. I mean, we know
18:16
what actually happened. Joe Flacco was sitting
18:18
on his couch, made a ton of
18:20
bets on himself before he
18:23
assigned a contract. You're going to get the story
18:25
in a week in about a month after the
18:27
season's over. You heard it here first, people.
18:30
I mean, it's amazing. So, uh, Joe Flacco
18:32
and the jet, uh, the Browns versus the
18:35
jets. That's Thursday night. Then we get one
18:37
Saturday night game, which is the game of
18:39
the week, right? Lions, Cowboys, 53 and
18:41
a half over under, which tells us what
18:43
bets. Don't
18:45
walk. You run to your
18:48
book and you hammer that under because last
18:50
week, what was the game? It was, uh,
18:52
dolphins and cowboys, right? Yup.
18:54
That came under. All right. So
18:57
we're 11 out of 12 hitting
18:59
the under, which is just, just
19:01
wild, man. Um, so those are
19:04
the games, early games, and then we get 13
19:06
games and one Sunday night game, so it
19:09
is packed and bets mentioned the early window.
19:11
I mean, you're, you're looking at 10 games in the
19:14
early window alone in the one
19:16
o'clock, so, um, based on those games, bets
19:18
hit me with the teams with the highest
19:20
team flight total. Yeah. Another
19:22
week. Another 49ers leading the slate.
19:25
31 points. I'm going to tell you right
19:27
now, like the over against Washington, assuming we get good news
19:29
on Brock Purdy. The Eagles are second at 28 and a
19:31
half. The chiefs at 26 and a half. The
19:34
bills 26.3 and the Ravens at 25. I
19:38
really liked seeing Sam Donald on
19:40
the, like the first drive is like, oh,
19:42
let's go, let's go, Sam Darnold. There's a
19:44
reason you were picked third overall. I
19:47
took you in a dynasty startup. Oh, wait. Okay. You're
19:49
Sam Darnold. Okay. Nevermind. But,
19:52
um, yeah, it, the 49ers.
19:55
There's going to be a little bit of this bad taste
19:57
in our mouth because of what we just saw. 31
20:00
team implied total is nuts
20:02
for being on the road. So
20:05
yeah, we need them that team There's
20:09
not a lot of players off the main slate this
20:11
week. I was listening them. I was like, okay Well,
20:13
obviously we're not playing flaco. We want to QB one
20:17
there's some wide receivers off the slate, but it's the
20:20
player pool is stocked full of
20:24
guys to look at in every single position So
20:27
any quick thoughts about who's not on the slate
20:29
and when you looked at the player pool Yeah,
20:32
I mean it's just when you have these large slates
20:34
and no one's really on by And
20:37
the primetime games like I mean, they're pretty good.
20:39
They're like the Saturday night game is gonna be
20:41
awesome Very excited about that. We'll do some showdown,
20:44
you know contest in our dressings league for that
20:46
But you know, there really are the
20:48
elite options here for you And whenever we talk about that
20:50
on a slate, it's like when we have these smaller ones
20:52
where you can kind of pick and choose Six
20:55
K quarterback or like a 5k quarterback
20:57
like this past weekend you can spend
20:59
up elsewhere and not be worried about getting buried
21:02
by Whoever the QB one is
21:04
like this past week. It was to a
21:06
and Dak there were cost prohibitive this week, man
21:08
You got Josh Allen you got
21:10
my homes You got Jalen hurts and an incredible
21:12
spot against the Cardinals So like I feel like
21:14
it's kind of one of those weeks again where
21:17
it just seems like a an awesome quarterback
21:20
Is going to have a ceiling performance? You'll
21:22
probably need it in tournaments. We'll see what happens throughout the
21:25
week. That's a great point
21:27
because yeah I looked at this past weekend.
21:29
I was like, okay, I'm not scared of
21:31
anybody bearing me other than Justin Fields Just
21:34
based on price and how I'm you know
21:36
allocating that and then you could get away
21:38
with the cheap guys like Nick Mullins got
21:40
there Joe Flacco got there Taylor Heineke was
21:42
pretty good too. Like you could have just
21:44
spent down and been totally fine Bryce
21:47
young was good too. So yeah
21:49
cheap quarterbacks I think are gonna be really tough
21:51
to lean into on this slate
21:54
So before we get into our most
21:56
popular games, let's take a quick break Alright,
22:07
we're back. Betts, tell me about which game
22:10
for week 17 is going to be the
22:12
matchup. I mean it's
22:14
this Miami and Baltimore game, don't you think? The
22:17
battle for the number one seed in the AFC. Obviously
22:20
huge upside in this spot for Tyreek
22:22
with Waddle unlikely to play coming
22:24
off a high ankle sprain. We get this ultra
22:26
condensed target share to Tyreek and
22:28
it's like okay sweet, I'll just bring it back with
22:30
someone on Baltimore and because we had the Monday
22:32
night game, those guys are
22:34
cheap man. Flowers is 5600, Odell is 4500, Isaiah likely is 4600.
22:40
So however you want to play it, if
22:42
you want to just do a Lamar skinny with Tyreek, it's doable. If
22:45
you don't want to play the quarterbacks and just play kind of
22:47
Tyreek and one of those Baltimore
22:49
Ravens, it's very easy to fit those guys and they're going
22:52
to project well because it's got a 47 point total. So
22:55
I think that one will be quite popular and
22:57
just as humans, when we have something in
23:00
front of us as far as a high profile game, we want to have
23:02
a little sweat in it so I could see people defaulting
23:05
to that matchup for that reason too. Yeah,
23:07
I want to give a quick mention
23:10
of Fandool and what they're doing with that game
23:12
because it's almost like they priced the players and
23:14
they had to price it before the game as
23:17
if Baltimore was going to lose. You're
23:20
getting cheap guys across the board like Zae Flowers is
23:22
6.3 on Fandool. You're
23:24
going to see some other names. You're like, oh,
23:27
this guy's buried. Two is only 7.6. I
23:30
think two is the QB8 or 9. So
23:34
he's kind of down there too. So I think there's
23:36
a lot to like on Fandool if you want to
23:38
stack up that game from a value standpoint. We'll
23:40
see later on in the week where it fits in
23:43
our game pay score. But yeah, that is the NFL
23:45
matchup and then it's not as
23:47
expensive as it should be, which Tyreek
23:49
is going to be the main piece,
23:51
but it's almost like you just
23:53
eat the cost and you build around him and it's actually
23:55
not as expensive as it's been in the past. This past
23:57
week when we talked about Dallas and Miami, we were like,
24:00
This game is so expensive, I don't know if I
24:02
want to go there if it fails. This
24:05
game you can go Tyreke, Zae Flowers with
24:08
Lamar and totally get there. That's
24:10
definitely going to be the game. Betts mentioned
24:13
San Francisco, Washington. Washington defense has
24:15
been a punching bag
24:17
the entire year. So, correlating expensive San
24:19
Francisco players with their team in total
24:22
and then one Washington player I think is going to be
24:24
a route that a lot of people go. QB
24:28
is going to be a big conversation
24:30
point because in cash on DraftKings he's
24:33
interesting. On Fandal he's the
24:35
QB3. It's
24:38
almost laughable to think to pay that price on
24:40
Fandal when there's just Josh Allen and other
24:43
players that just have massive upside hurts around
24:45
them. I will be
24:48
playing 49ers players, we'll be talking about Christian
24:50
McCaffrey, but I think there's players on
24:52
the Washington side when you think about the Curtis
24:54
Samuels of the world that you
24:57
can bring in your lineup and hopefully
24:59
you get a good PPR outing.
25:02
Which game do you think is sneaky this week? I'm
25:04
going to throw out the Tampa Bay and
25:07
New Orleans game. The total is only at
25:09
42.5 so it's not incredible,
25:12
but this Saints D is
25:14
really struggling especially when they faced good
25:17
to competent teams. Not
25:19
Tommy DeVito and the Giants or Bryce Young and the Panthers.
25:21
They gave up 30 to the Rams, 33 to the Lions,
25:23
27 to the Vikings, 27 to the Colts over the last
25:28
month and a half. The Bucks are kind
25:30
of rolling right now. Baker's playing
25:32
well, Evans and Godwin are healthy, Rashad White's
25:34
doing his thing. It's all
25:36
looking good at a home spot here for
25:38
Tampa to go up against a struggling New
25:40
Orleans team. Then on the other side we
25:43
just saw a huge Chris Olave performance
25:46
and this is a Tampa defense where you have to throw
25:49
the football. It creates a pretty clean bring
25:51
back in my opinion. Of course,
25:53
you could look Rashid Jahid's way too if you wanted to get
25:55
unique, but I just think the way these teams
25:57
set up looks pretty interesting to me.
26:00
Can you tell me that our lobby is gonna
26:02
be fine though? I need personally to know that.
26:05
I do as well. Really need
26:07
the lobby to be healthy. So if you
26:09
missed it after last Thursday night's game, which feels like two
26:11
months ago at this point, remember
26:14
he was questionable with ankle issue, battled
26:16
through it, and after the game told reporters that
26:18
he is, yeah, it was really a lot
26:20
of pain kind of struggled through the game to get through it. I
26:23
think with the extra time, same story, like he'll probably
26:25
be limited throughout the week, but should play in my
26:28
opinion. I don't know that he's 100%, but
26:31
he's at least functional enough to get through the game and
26:33
at least kind of put up stats. So I think a lobby
26:36
will be fine. I certainly need him to be as well.
26:38
Yeah, the extra time to rest up
26:41
is the only thing that I'm like holding on to.
26:43
So yeah, I think
26:45
Buffalo onslaught stacks are gonna kind of go
26:47
under the radar this week. They're
26:50
in the early window. They're at home
26:52
against the Patriots. So it
26:55
doesn't feel like a game that once they wanna go off, but
26:57
their team applied total is great. They're at 26.3. We've
27:00
seen the offense kind of turn things around recently.
27:02
They've won three in a row, and at home
27:04
this year they're averaging 28.6 points per game. So
27:08
I think Buffalo, two
27:10
to three pieces from Buffalo can get there. I
27:13
don't know if you need somebody from the Patriots, and I question
27:16
who that could be. Like, do you wanna play
27:18
Pop Douglas other than cash? Not
27:20
really, but I think Buffalo onslaught stacks make a lot
27:22
of sense this week. So put that on your radar.
27:25
Which game do you wanna be underweight on? I'm
27:28
not super into the Carolina and
27:30
Jacksonville game. This week it's
27:32
a low total, only 37 and a half points, but
27:35
you've got Trevor Lawrence battling a shoulder injury,
27:37
and this is part of the reason we were on the
27:40
Jordan Love under on his past attempts this past
27:42
week is because Carolina invites you to run the
27:44
ball. So you have your quarterback with a shoulder
27:46
injury against a run funnel defense. I
27:49
think we're gonna see a ton of Travis ETN here, which I
27:51
mean, if you wanna play him, that's cool. But
27:53
I don't think we're gonna see a high flying back and forth
27:55
affair from the Jacksonville side,
27:57
especially considering their wide receiver injuries with Christian
27:59
Kirk. say Jones and on the other side
28:02
Bryce young is coming off of a career
28:04
day randomly. It's the Packers I
28:07
know you have to throw on Jacksonville usually
28:10
But I just don't want to bet on that
28:12
happening in back-to-back weeks and since they're week seven
28:14
bye for Carolina Their games are seven
28:16
and two to the under Yeah,
28:19
you need you need Trevor Lawrence to
28:21
make this game really go. Did you see
28:23
Bryce young's price? It is it's
28:25
so tempting 4.9
28:27
roll and scroll and scroll
28:29
and then you'll find it after you get tendonitis in your thumb
28:33
It's pretty far down there man. He's buried Yeah,
28:36
so he's interesting based on
28:38
what they did last week. It's also I'll
28:42
mention later DJ Chuck revenge game
28:45
coming off of two touchdowns It's
28:48
probably not gonna work but Yeah, it's not a
28:50
game. You probably want to stack I'll throw out Atlanta,
28:52
Chicago And I remembered and you
28:55
probably remember this too You
28:57
studied for week 17 a long time ago
28:59
It was called May when we were talking
29:01
best ball talking week 17 correlation bets you
29:03
put out a whole article I believe on
29:06
this so you already know it's gonna happen
29:08
this week You just have to go back and read it you
29:10
probably forgot but Atlanta Chicago
29:12
was one of those matchups that you go, huh? Do
29:15
I even care about this at least I'll correlate some
29:17
Chicago and Atlanta players and see what happens I'm
29:20
sure there's some best ball lineups that what have Bijon and
29:23
DJ more together. Yeah, we're like,
29:25
oh, I already have DJ more. I might as well
29:27
take Kyle Pitts Like they're definitely gonna go off in
29:29
week 17. Oh My
29:32
gosh, there are so many or there's
29:35
the correlation that you didn't know you needed it's like
29:37
Oh, I have this player that's on
29:39
this team now that like, oh I have the
29:41
Thai Chandler You
29:43
know Nick Mullins, you
29:46
know extravaganza or whatever else I have I
29:51
Hope no a draft Nick Wells if you did you probably had a
29:53
terrible season I need to go
29:55
back through my lineups and find like what
29:58
correlation I stumbled into just like because I
30:00
was galaxy branding at the time and I was just drafting
30:02
and I just knew like this was gonna hit
30:07
Atlanta Chicago, it's gonna be slow paced.
30:10
I think the thing with fields is
30:12
if he doesn't get the huge yak
30:15
plays from DJ Moore or you know he has
30:17
a banged up Cole Comette who left with a knee injury it's
30:20
gonna be tough. The Overunder is only 39. If this is
30:22
a dome game I feel different but it's that soldier field.
30:24
This is gonna be a slow slog
30:27
although it would be a great audition
30:30
for the Falcons to see Justin Fields and
30:33
for them to trade for him this next year. I
30:35
think I'd love that. I don't think that's out of
30:37
their own possibility. I think that's that's very live. Hometown
30:40
guy he's from he's from Atlanta. Harrison
30:44
High School I believe. Team most
30:46
confident hits the over of their team applied
30:49
total this week. That is correct because remember
30:51
watching kibi1 on Netflix when he was there.
30:53
Nice. I'm gonna go over
30:55
22 and a half for Tampa. I already
30:57
talked about the game environment with the Saints.
31:00
Since week nine Tampa is playing incredibly
31:02
well offensively. Excuse me eighth in
31:04
EPA per play. They're eighth in
31:06
scoring and over the last three weeks I don't know
31:08
what has gotten into Baker Mayfield and this team but 29, 34,
31:10
30 points put
31:13
up on the scoreboard and New Orleans since
31:17
week 10. So over the last six weeks there's
31:19
six lowest pressure rate in the NFL
31:21
meaning Baker has really struggled
31:24
when you know he's been under pressure in his
31:26
career. On paper at least this
31:28
is a spot where he should be in a clean pocket
31:30
and pick apart the Saints defense as we saw Matthew Stafford
31:32
do last Thursday night. I'll be
31:34
quick about this we mentioned San Francisco 31. It's
31:36
a team you want to
31:38
lean into in a couple spots in Washington I
31:40
wrote is good at their job and their job
31:42
is giving up points. So we're gonna lean into
31:44
San Francisco team applied total. I think you said
31:47
earlier like that's something I want to potentially
31:49
just lean into. Yeah big time. All
31:52
right which team are you most confident hits the under. Yeah
31:55
I'm gonna kind of follow up with what you said
31:57
with that Atlanta Chicago game and I'm about to get
31:59
Atlanta under. 18 and a half. Though
32:01
the story for this team really has been their home road splits
32:04
when they're at home. They play
32:06
really well in the dome, when they're
32:08
on the road, they struggle, and Chicago
32:10
has been awesome defensively over the back half of the
32:12
year. So since week nine, their number two in EPA
32:14
per play, their sixth in EPA per
32:16
rush attempt, which is huge to
32:18
me because we know Atlanta prefers to run
32:20
the ball, and if they get stuffed
32:23
early and they get, they're unable
32:25
to kind of stay ahead of the chain, so
32:27
to speak, they're gonna force each other on a
32:29
key to drop back, and it's not like Chicago
32:31
is a bad pass defense, they're top five in
32:33
EPA per drop back over that last kind of
32:35
six week span too. So just on paper, it's
32:37
a really tough spot for Atlanta and how they
32:39
wanna play, and six of the last seven opponents against
32:42
Chicago have been at or under
32:44
their team total. I'm
32:46
gonna throw out the Chargers under 16 and
32:48
a half. They're playing
32:51
at Denver. Denver just beat them
32:53
a couple weeks ago, 24 to seven in Los Angeles,
32:55
so they're at home. Ethan Stig is
32:57
not a player I'm confident in, and then you
32:59
just look at the pricing, like for Los Angeles
33:02
Chargers players on DraftKings, and you go, like
33:04
nobody's confident, Austin Echler is
33:07
so cheap now, like nobody wants to play
33:09
him, so I think the Chargers are a
33:11
team you don't really need, and is
33:14
Keaton Allen asking
33:16
for my closest friend in the
33:19
entire world? Is
33:21
he just like done for the year, like doesn't
33:23
wanna come back? So what's weird about
33:25
this, and this is
33:27
tough too, because I was
33:29
talking about this on the injury blitz this past week, it's
33:32
shutdown season around the NFL, so guys
33:35
that could play through something, if the team's
33:37
out of it, they might not. That's clearly what's happening
33:39
with the Chargers, they were officially eliminated, not that they
33:41
ever really had a chance, but
33:44
there's been like no details on this heel injury, so
33:46
I don't really know specifically what's going on, but
33:49
I will tell you, he has zero motivation to get back out
33:51
there at this point, so I am not feeling incredible
33:53
about Keaton Allen's chances of playing
33:56
this week. Is
33:58
there a way that I... me, Keenan
34:01
Allen, best friend from day one. And
34:06
I'm not trying to put this, but I think I
34:08
care about Keenan Allen almost as much as anybody else
34:10
in fantasy football world. Could I
34:12
motivate him? Or just
34:14
in the world, period, not just fantasy
34:16
football. Hey man, you could
34:18
try. I've heard actually a really
34:21
good strategy is fantasy players and
34:23
gamblers DMing NFL players and telling them on Twitter.
34:25
Oh yeah, that's great. That's a really good thing
34:27
to do, so you should try that. I
34:29
feel like Keenan and I have a pretty good online
34:31
relationship so far, so I don't want to ruin that.
34:34
That's fair. I
34:36
need you buddy. I've always been
34:38
there through, I mean, from
34:40
your rookie year, I drafted you.
34:43
I've held on, you know, so many seasons.
34:45
I was there, Toyo ACL in week one.
34:47
I've always been there, last rated kidney. Been
34:49
there too, buddy. We've been
34:52
through a lot, so. And also I'm
34:54
about to hit this drop for salary standouts. It is a
34:56
picture of Keenan Allen. Salary
35:00
standouts. I
35:03
know he's not gonna play when I hear you say,
35:05
there are literally no details out about this person. Your
35:08
job is to look for injury stuff and yeah,
35:10
I haven't found anything either. So maybe
35:13
we'll get something. Maybe we'll get some news,
35:15
but yeah, there's not a lot of motivation. This
35:17
week, we're gonna look at the players early
35:19
in the week that stand out to us. We're
35:22
getting an early read. Like people, give us some grace.
35:24
You should give yourself some grace because if you're looking at the player pool,
35:28
there's a lot of players to sort through. And we
35:30
just went through Christmas, the three game slate and everything
35:32
else you did with your family. So this is early
35:34
in the week. If you're like,
35:36
hey, why don't you talk about those players? Like, I
35:38
don't know. Cause we think we didn't get to look
35:41
at every single thing yet. So at quarterback, I
35:44
love Lamar's tag at 7.7. Like
35:46
we mentioned, I think DraftKings priced them as if
35:48
they were going to lose. You
35:50
know, they were five and a half point dogs, which a lot of
35:52
people didn't like that line. So I like Lamar at
35:55
7.7. You
35:57
have Brock Purdy at 7K. If
36:00
you knew he was healthy on the
36:02
road, team applied total against Washington, is
36:05
he a better cost sensitive play? So
36:07
this one's tough, because I think Lamar, you
36:09
know, with his ability to run, that
36:12
price sticks out to me. It's like, man, am I really
36:14
gonna give up 700 bucks just
36:16
to play Brock Purdy? But it's like, we need to
36:18
get rid of this, I
36:20
don't know what to say, but stigma or bias. If you just
36:22
removed last night, like Purdy is
36:24
smashing this price tag every single week,
36:26
right, and now we get the match
36:28
up against the Commander, so you
36:31
could flip a coin to me, those guys are both awesome.
36:33
I think it's gonna depend on how you wanna build, and
36:35
we're gonna talk about guys like Christian McCaffrey, Tyreek
36:37
Hill, who seem like you need one of those
36:40
guys this week. Obviously, the
36:42
more money you can save in certain positions and
36:44
get those guys, the better it's gonna
36:46
project. So for me, I think I leaned Purdy early in
36:48
the week, but of course, we'll see what projections say as
36:50
we get throughout the week. I
36:52
leaned Christian McCaffrey early in
36:54
the week. Over Tyreek? I
36:57
do, but it's a bias thing, and
36:59
I think he's just been worth, he's been
37:01
worth the price tag every single week. Like
37:04
literally every single week. Yeah,
37:07
well. I mean, there's two weeks where
37:09
he had. There's been a couple of
37:11
games where he's only had 19 DraftKings
37:13
points, or only 20, what a failure. But
37:17
I get what you're saying in Cash Games, like you're locking in 18
37:19
to 30 points, most
37:23
weeks for CMC, which is crazy. But
37:25
man, if there's no Gyllenwaddle, which I
37:27
do not think there will be this week, Tyreek's
37:32
cheaper? I don't know, man. You
37:34
could argue either way, I think. I'll
37:38
have to see what my
37:40
builds look like. I mentioned Bryce Young earlier. He's
37:43
just so cheap. That stood out to me
37:45
as like, oh, this is a play that you could make
37:47
work, but we mentioned the way the slate is shaped. I
37:51
think one of these expensive quarterbacks is gonna smash
37:53
Josh Allen, Lamar, hurts.
37:56
So, keep all of those in mind,
37:58
and then I just wanna mention too on fans. at
38:00
7.6 he stands out as
38:02
a missed price so if you're gonna
38:04
stack up that game that one makes a lot of sense. At
38:08
running back CMC is 9.6 as we mentioned
38:11
on Fandal he is 11k
38:13
so you gotta pay up and
38:16
I like that I like that Fandal said like hey
38:18
we're not gonna give this guy away 11k is insane
38:20
for any player
38:23
and on a touchdown dependent site
38:25
it makes sense because you pretty much can
38:28
lock in at least one touchdown for this
38:30
guy so appropriately priced on Fandal. Kyron
38:32
Williams I think is gonna be a play that you and
38:34
I also like at 8.3
38:37
against the Giants and their run funnel team
38:39
so yeah I think Kyron feels
38:42
safe at 8.3. Yeah
38:45
I mean we've talked about this before he has the
38:47
CMC role where it's it's his backfield and
38:49
you're gonna give a couple touches to you know
38:52
the backup Ronnie Rivers but it's his
38:54
backfield and the Giants you certainly can
38:56
run on you certainly can expect points
38:59
from the Rams they've got a pretty healthy team
39:01
total this week so Kyron makes
39:03
sense to me it's gonna
39:05
be tough man because you're not gonna be able to fit likely
39:07
I'll say likely you're not gonna be able
39:09
to fit CMC Tyree Kill and Kyron Williams
39:11
on drafting so it's a decision tree but
39:14
he's in the player pool for sure. Travis
39:17
E.T.N. stood out to me at
39:19
7.2 against the Carolina Panthers a team that
39:21
we've I don't know we've picked on them
39:23
a lot but the
39:25
thing about E.T.N. it's just been touchdowns weeks one
39:28
through eight he was averaging 18.8 fans
39:31
points per game and a touchdown per
39:33
game so like you were getting this crazy
39:36
volume and you were getting the touchdowns after
39:38
the week nine by he has just two total
39:40
touchdowns and so I think he's a good positive
39:43
regression candidate against the defense that we've kind
39:45
of picked on a lot as giving up
39:47
touchdown so he's interesting I would probably
39:49
won't play him in cash but I think in tournaments I
39:52
love that price tag at 7.2
39:54
DeAndre Swift stands out to me at 6.5
39:56
against the Cardinals who Are
40:00
not good at anything and especially not good at stopping
40:02
the run. So that kind of stands out And
40:05
then do we know anything about Josh Jacobs?
40:08
Who's missed the last two weeks? They
40:11
said it was a little bit closer this past week and
40:14
he's just miss priced He's six point
40:16
two on DraftKings 7k on Fandal Anything
40:18
against the Colts who's a team that we've
40:20
always picked on with running back.
40:23
So anything with Josh Jacobs? Yeah,
40:25
apparently he was Like he
40:27
said pretty close to playing on Monday against the
40:29
Chiefs worked out pretty game and just kind of
40:31
felt like he couldn't go But
40:33
man, Zamir White has played very well
40:36
in his absence And so I think even
40:38
if Josh Jacobs plays this week There's
40:40
a chance we see more Zamir White
40:42
than we have in the past with Jacobs and
40:44
Antonio Pierce a head coach So I
40:47
get the price tag. I think even be more of a tournament
40:49
play for me, especially coming off injury But the matchups there and
40:51
the price tag is certainly there. Yeah,
40:53
I want to throw Jevonte 5.6
40:56
at home as a favorite against the Chargers Workloads
40:59
there touchdowns really haven't been there. I think he
41:01
has one touchdown the last calendar year Like
41:03
it's just just hasn't been happening, but
41:05
I think his workload Is
41:08
solid so you have
41:10
CH on here? Yeah, just another name
41:12
to keep you know, kind of at the back of your
41:14
mind as we start the week with Isaiah
41:16
Pacheco In Monday's
41:18
game against the Raiders left with a concussion
41:21
So typically that's tough to clear when
41:23
you're a Monday game as opposed
41:25
to like a Thursday Saturday or Sunday game
41:27
So if he misses CH would
41:30
certainly have to play I don't
41:32
say every down but he would be the
41:34
dude because Jake McKinnon is on IR with a
41:36
groin injury So it's like man if he's the
41:38
only guy at 5.3, he'd be a decent salary-saving
41:40
option. I think for cash games Let's
41:43
move to wide receiver. I mentioned earlier Zae
41:46
Flowers is a great tag on both websites
41:50
He's just getting a lot of volume He saw on Monday
41:52
night if you watch the games a lot of first reads
41:54
a lot of yak kind of plays Probably
41:57
had another touchdown that he could have had so Zae
41:59
Flowers is interesting interesting, Tyreke
42:02
is the big decision point this week if you can
42:04
pay up. What do you think about AJ
42:06
Brown at 8.6? Like a lot
42:08
of times in these match-up,
42:10
he smashes against really bad opponents and the Cardinals
42:12
are one of the worst. So is
42:15
that too expensive for a player that's kind of been
42:17
volatile? I think he's
42:19
not in cash game consideration, which
42:22
when you look at pricing and you're trying to
42:24
fit McCaffrey or Tyreke, I think he's just gonna
42:26
get lost in the shuffle this week. So I
42:28
love him early in the week for tournaments. Like
42:31
he said, the match-up's there and when you
42:33
think about guys that you just wanna peg is
42:35
like, it's been a while since we've seen that
42:38
game from him. He has
42:40
not scored a touchdown since, let's see here,
42:42
since week 12 against
42:45
Buffalo. So it's been a while. He's not
42:47
good at the game. He's not good
42:49
at the game, man. It's been a while, obviously it's a really
42:51
good spot at home against the Cardinals. So
42:54
I think he's an early guy to peg in and
42:56
he's like, man, in tournaments he looks really fun. This
43:00
price shocked me. It's Devontae Adams, it's only 7.4. And
43:05
the headline's gonna be Aiden
43:07
O'Connell didn't throw for any passing
43:09
yards in the second, third, or fourth quarter and that
43:11
is hilarious to think about. But the
43:13
match-up against the Colts is beautiful
43:15
against outside wide receivers. Like
43:18
they've been giving up the entire year and Adams'
43:20
target share with Aiden O'Connell has been about 30%
43:22
the entire time that
43:24
we've seen those start. So Adams,
43:28
for tournaments, at least is way cheaper than he should
43:30
be because we know his upside, right? His upside is
43:32
102 and it's a dome game. So
43:36
I just wanted to throw him out there, especially if Josh
43:38
Jacobs isn't there, you could see even more of
43:41
a condensed target share. Who do
43:43
you wanna throw out this week? Yeah, I'll keep
43:45
throwing out Rishi Rice. I know that the box
43:47
score results on Monday weren't awesome but
43:49
he still had 12 targets. And
43:52
just again, keep looking at the state of the wide
43:54
receiver room, like this team. And we
43:56
talked about that with Mike right on the Dynasty show. It's like get
43:58
my home's legit. Kelsey's
44:00
getting a little older. Everyone
44:02
else out there is just kind of running around.
44:04
MBS is doing literally nothing. It's the
44:07
Rashid Rice show and at 6.9, it
44:09
feels a little expensive for the rookie, but
44:11
he's playing every down. And you can kind
44:13
of pencil him in for double digit targets every week. Good
44:15
matchup against N'Zee this week. So I like Rashid Rice. So
44:18
you mentioned a Lava earlier at 6.8. I
44:21
also think Rashid Shaheed is interesting. 4.6
44:24
Tampa Bay gives up the third highest explosive
44:26
pass rate in the league. You saw Ridley
44:28
get there this past week with
44:30
targets even though the game was gross and
44:32
they were boat racing them. So Saints
44:35
wide receivers make for really
44:37
good bring backs this week. You're gonna
44:39
have the Mike Evans, Marshawn Lattimore
44:41
narrative that's gonna be thrown out too in
44:43
that game. But that's a sneaky game. I
44:46
like that one a lot. But it's just sneaky. Lattimore's on IR.
44:49
He is? He hasn't played in a very long time. Oh.
44:53
You're gonna get the narrative and it doesn't work. Come
44:56
on Kyle. Aren't you plugged into the IDP
44:58
streets? You
45:00
know, I actually do have some good IDP friends
45:02
out there. The IDP show, they're
45:05
good people, but I do not play. Yeah, me either.
45:07
Man, I can't imagine devoted that much
45:09
time to both sides of the ball. Not
45:12
for me, but hey, if you like it, it's your thing. Go for it.
45:14
Yeah, there's good people out there. JSN
45:17
is 4.8 against Steelers who've been
45:19
given up to slot wide receivers.
45:21
That one's interesting. You have Pop
45:24
Douglas who is good for seven points
45:26
and nothing else. He had
45:28
12 this past week against Denver, sir. Not
45:31
in my half point league. Yeah, we're
45:33
talking drafting, full point PPR. He
45:37
just earns targets, right? And in this
45:39
offense, he's kind of the only
45:41
guy you can really, I don't wanna say
45:44
depend on because it's not like you're getting upside, but
45:46
Hunter Henry banged up, Juju still banged
45:49
up, Taekwon Thornton
45:51
and whoever else are just kind of rotational
45:53
pieces. It's him, right? So I think
45:55
Pop Douglas makes sense if you're looking for a cheap play
45:57
early in the week. Curtis
45:59
Samuel. 4.4 in that game
46:01
against the San Francisco 49ers once again. It's
46:04
kind of basically the same thing as
46:06
Pop Douglas, except we've seen ceiling games
46:08
for Curtis Samuel. We've seen touchdowns from him
46:10
too, so Sam Howell has to throw 40
46:13
times or Jacobi Percet has to
46:15
step in and throw as well. Then
46:17
yeah, Curtis Samuel kind of makes sense as a
46:19
cheap PPR option. Tied
46:22
in this week, you know, you have Kelsey on
46:24
the slate who's expensive. You have
46:26
some other guys that you can pay up for, but I feel
46:28
like this is going to be a week if I don't play
46:30
Trey McBride, then I'm probably going
46:32
to have to punt because I got to save somewhere
46:35
and I don't mind some of the cheap options. So
46:37
Trey McBride at 5.9, we're
46:39
always going to talk about him. Chigg,
46:44
did you see what Chigg did this past week, man? I
46:47
believe he scored a touchdown. Yeah, he
46:49
scored a touchdown like we talked about this past week.
46:51
He was popping in the hasn't scored a touchdown
46:53
yet model scores the touchdown. It
46:55
just took Derek Henry throwing him the ball
46:57
to get in the end. Don't worry about
47:00
that. Yeah. So Chigg,
47:02
3.6 at Houston
47:04
and they've been giving up a lot
47:06
to tight ends. You
47:08
have Gerald Everett. I
47:12
always want Gerald Everett to be a thing. I've been
47:14
wanting for about seven years and it just hasn't
47:16
happened. Yeah. And
47:18
you know, when you think about him, it's like, man, is there really any upside?
47:20
But you could say that for any of the tight ends in this range and
47:22
at 3,500 for a guy who's
47:25
seen eight, eight, eight targets three weeks in
47:27
a row, if Keenan Allen continues to miss,
47:30
I think it makes sense if you're looking
47:32
for an okay floor play. And
47:35
Denver, man, they funnel targets to the tight end. Yeah.
47:38
Okay. I don't mind it.
47:40
Juwan Johnson is another name I'll throw out there. If a
47:42
lobby is banged up, it's at Tampa Bay, 3.4. He's
47:45
kind of like a wide receiver. And
47:48
then at defense, we both liked the Broncos early in the
47:50
week at 2.9 against Easton
47:52
Stick. That's not great. And
47:55
then Baltimore, once again, the defense is priced
47:57
as if they were going to lose. I
48:00
think Baltimore is kind of an interesting tournament play early in the
48:02
week at 2.8 at home against Miami. Especially
48:07
if you just want to wipe out that game and just, if
48:09
you're looking for a GPC leverage because everyone probably is
48:11
going to play Tyreek, makes sense to
48:13
me if you want to get a little game theory in there. Yep,
48:16
and then Denver on FanDuel as well. So I think Denver
48:18
is going to be the play in
48:20
cash this week. Just seems like a safe
48:22
floor. Let's see, Denver
48:25
is a five and a half point home favorite and
48:27
the Chargers team applied total what I talked about earlier,
48:29
I like the under at 16 and a half. So
48:32
we'll find out later in the week which
48:34
ones we like. If you want to play with
48:36
us, go to ballersdfs.com, our
48:38
DraftKings League, FanDuelers, DFS, Borg and
48:40
Betts. You can jump in a league, enter
48:43
the contest, hang out with us, we'll
48:45
even try to throw out one for that Saturday
48:47
contest, the Detroit and
48:50
Dallas. That one's going to be a, wait,
48:53
not Detroit Dallas. Which game is it?
48:55
Yeah, Saturday night, it's Monday Night Football
48:57
on Saturday. Is
48:59
that what they're calling it? Yeah, it is the Monday Night
49:01
Crew doing the game. I
49:04
can't keep up with anything, we just did Christmas
49:06
man. Nothing makes sense. And
49:08
the next time, it doesn't anymore. You know what does make sense though?
