C-RAD, aka, Colorado Rapid Avalanche Deployment is a skilled team of avalanche dog handlers that train year round with their dogs so they can respond to an avalanche incident where people may have been burried. 

In this episode I talk with Dough Lesch, President of C-RAD, about how he began in search and rescue and what it's like to be part of a team of avalanche rescue dogs in the mountains of Colorado.
