Clothes are joyful experiences when they are associated with beloved memorable moments and vice versa. Mothers took the helm of shaping their daughters and sons approach for fashion through the ways they styles themselves and comment on others; My mother hated horizontal stripes and she has always associated this pattern with appearing larger than your actual size and unconsciously picked up her hate towards horizontal stripes. One remark that I found imperative is the fact that dress codes are needed as they would reduce the stress over which outfits deemed appropriate and respectful for certain occasions such as weddings/funerals.
