The people behind Gunn for Hire are true noir masters and their creativity and skill come together to tell one of the best stories in this genre that I have ever heard. The characters and plot have such depth and I am so excited to see where this story takes us! Plus the soundtrack is fantastic!

Fear the Boot has a great family of actual play podcasts that I’ve really enjoyed! Whether you’re looking for post-apocalyptic (Skies of Glass), weird west (The Adventures of Young & Holt), or noir (Gunn for Hire), they’ve got it! Very immersive content that makes you feel as if you’re part of the world that’s being crafted and part of the story that’s being told. Great GMs, great players, all around great shows that you should definitely check out!

I started listening to Young and Holt around episode 23 and I really liked the system that was being used. The players enthusiasm along with the GM's had me sucked right into the story. The rules were a little confusing at first but after a bit I caught on to how things worked. I love a good western and when you mix in fantasy along with that then you got me hooked good. Fun story from what I've heard so far and I'm looking forward to hearing more!I also started listening to Gunn for Hire right from the beginning and I really love it, I've already listened to the first few episodes. I'm a sucker for those old school noir style stories and this spoke to that part of me right quick. The editing that has been done for this is very quality and drew me in as though I was listening to an audio drama. The players themselves stick to their characters and paint you a picture of this horror noir tale while the GM works behind the scenes, linking each story together like clockwork. I have the next five episodes of this loaded up for my work day and I am very excited. Keep up the great work on both of these stories!
