When I was a young single adult I met with a girl who told me that the way to solve her troubles was to focus on herself. I realized in that moment that it's a concept that sounds good in theory but in actuality doesn't provide healing or ultimately peace. I share some of my own experiences and the experiences of others that lead to actual authentic peace and healing.
