I was excited by the prospect of this episode. If Charles Koch truly does receive undeserved blame for much of his political involvement, I was all ears to hear his side of the story. But this podcast was a joke. Koch spoke freely about his principles on how he wants to liberate the disadvantaged and poor, but he received no questions or critical examination on how his policies contribute to said principles. None of the questions seemed to enlighten me. It was just praise and a very soft and uninformative interview.

This did give me a good insight into the world of political influence and how money is used to influence and buy favors. It also shows how the road to hell is paved with good intention. I feel that Dubner stepped over Koch premise that 'going back to the principals of how our nation was created'. A journalist should not allow a pundit to get away with I-am-the-protector-of-our-heritage BS.
