1:02

the King's new lemonade lineup is

1:04

here. Name and a lemonade The

1:06

Smoothie King Way try strawberry. Guava

1:09

Lemonade ask refresher over ice

1:11

a power up in it

1:13

can energize, or a blueberry

1:15

lemonade smoothie lead it up

1:17

being. Made with

1:20

real fruit. Real juice for a

1:22

real sipping good summer. Yeah yeah,

1:24

Data is no Smoothie Kings New

1:26

lemonade lineup of for a limited

1:29

time. Who. Stars Day. time

20:00

properly the CDI doesn't count along with

20:02

the creative new gameplay elements has gotten

20:05

IGN readers pretty hyped up. So

20:08

this list yeah the Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

20:10

is number one then Doom the Dark Ages has actually

20:12

moved up to number two. Number

20:14

three is Astro Bot then four is

20:17

Gears 4 E-Day and five is Perfect

20:19

Dark and yeah that's that those

20:21

sound like some of the biggest games announced yeah

20:23

I think this what this does Jan is this

20:25

measures people actively adding it

20:27

to their wish list during the summer

20:30

game fest season so this won't reflect

20:32

anything that might have been anticipated before

20:34

that that season necessarily yeah

20:37

I'm a very surprised to see Doom

20:39

the Dark Ages pop up at number

20:41

two on this list but

20:44

I think the thing seeing the Legend of Zelda

20:46

Echoes of Wisdom top the the

20:49

most wish listed does make

20:51

me hopeful for the future of

20:53

Nintendo of just lean into doing

20:55

more weird stuff yeah or not

20:58

weird stuff but uh different differentiated

21:00

products I know that Princess Peach

21:02

Showtime didn't pop off that the way

21:04

that Nintendo may have been hoping

21:06

but it also feels like they didn't position

21:08

it in in the strongest way possible rather

21:11

than Echoes of Wisdom here where

21:13

her power is tables yeah

21:16

right she's got the power of tables

21:18

yeah I when I when I look at

21:20

this it's like okay coming out of summer

21:22

game fest and being like okay if

21:24

I were to like plan plan like my my uh

21:27

game announcements to try to like get as much

21:29

hype as possible yeah these are the ones I

21:31

would have gone with and like Doom the Dark

21:33

Ages being the like hey they're making a game

21:35

that looks like it could be uh Hexen or

21:37

yeah yeah Hexen or Heretic

21:39

but why not put the Doom name on it

21:41

instead well turns out because yeah that's exactly the

21:43

reason you would do it is Doom is very

21:45

popular still and can get it to number two

21:47

on the most wish listed thing over on IGN

21:49

Playlists um and then

21:51

I don't know the rest of the list

21:54

I think the big surprise is here uh

21:56

yeah Assassin's Creed Shadows number seven uh Mario

21:58

and Luigi Brothership at number six that clear

22:00

obscure your game at exhibition 33 at number

22:02

eight above fable. That's a pretty impressive showing

22:04

for that game. Oh, okay.

22:06

This title. Okay. Yes. It's the, um,

22:09

really, really cool looking, uh, sort

22:12

of photo realistic with a lot of

22:14

extra, uh, fancy graphical effects of turn

22:16

based RPG. It looks, it

22:19

looks really neat. Um, yeah. Frenchy

22:21

RPG. Yeah. It's an FRPG, a

22:23

frog for PG. Yeah. For PG.

22:25

Yeah. Uh, very, very cool. Yeah.

22:27

I also was pleasantly surprised to see

22:30

some excitement, uh, behind Gears of war

22:32

e day. Um, but grub coming out

22:34

of the summer game fest announcement season,

22:36

I think the two most excited, uh,

22:38

titles, uh, from, I, the, the two

22:41

titles I'm excited for the most is,

22:44

uh, Assassin's Creed shadows still, um, and

22:46

Mario and Luigi brother ship. Yeah. It's good. I

22:49

mean, it looks real good. I've been watching that

22:51

trailer a lot with the kids and every

22:53

time I watch it, I get pretty excited. Um, just

22:56

seeing the tone of that, um, that

22:59

announcement trailer just makes me wish that

23:01

Nintendo had like a super

23:03

dedicated animation studio. And I know that they're

23:05

working with illumination. Um, but like

23:08

Pixar short style adventures

23:11

with Mario and Luigi, no, we don't

23:13

need any dialogue. We just need their faffing

23:15

about, it'd be awesome type of noises. Um,

23:19

and I, oh God, I would, I

23:21

don't know. I would, I would buy so

23:23

much of however they would want to feed that

23:25

to me. I, um, I still

23:27

really regularly watch those Pikmin shorts that Nintendo

23:29

did internally. And, uh, yeah, they crushed, excuse

23:31

me. They crushed those. I would love for

23:33

them to do more stuff like that. That

23:35

would be great. My, my pitch

23:37

of, uh, and I know that we don't do

23:39

seasons with our podcasts because we just

23:42

keep going out at the end of

23:44

season one. Don't worry. Everybody will get there. Well,

23:46

if we'll get there eventually guys, um, uh, in

23:50

we should change bomb cast, revenge

23:52

to brother ship revenge for season

23:54

two of the podcast. Perfect. Let's

23:56

do it. Uh,

23:58

let's see. Let's round out this list

24:00

top 20 ish. See,

24:03

number nine is fable. 10

24:05

is Metroid Prime 4 Beyond. Call of Duty Black Ops

24:07

6 is 11. Then it

24:09

goes Dragon Age the Vail Guard, South of Midnight,

24:11

LEGO Horizon Adventures at number 14, Life

24:14

is Strange Double Exposure, Indiana Jones and the

24:16

Great Circle at number 16, Metal

24:18

Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater at 17, then

24:21

Star Wars Outlaws, Super Mario Party Jamboree,

24:23

and Mixtape at number 20. Again,

24:26

some of these games were announced previously, so they're not gonna get

24:28

as big of a bump as some of these

24:30

other ones. But yeah, again, most of this

24:33

sounds about right. I'm a little

24:35

worried about Indiana Jones, not gonna lie, Greg. Yeah,

24:38

I don't know how to anticipate what

24:40

that game should do at this point.

24:42

I really like machine games, I really

24:44

like Indiana Jones. I

24:46

want to, yeah, right. It

24:48

definitely hit me, but what I'm realizing is

24:51

it missed a lot of kids, right, like they were

24:53

just a little bit younger than me. And it's like

24:55

a lot of that generation just does not care about

24:57

Indiana Jones at all. Yeah, that's

24:59

me. Right, yeah, I think it's a lot more people

25:01

than I realized a couple years ago, where I was

25:04

like, no, Indiana Jones is right there with Star Wars,

25:06

duh. And it's like, no, actually,

25:08

the Star Wars was able to renew its interest

25:10

and Indiana Jones did not. But

25:13

I don't know, I think a lot of it will come down to

25:15

if that game is, you

25:18

know, if the action is tight and then

25:20

the storytelling is as good as the

25:23

Wolfenstein games, then I think

25:25

it'll really hit a strong audience and have

25:28

a chance to break out even beyond the

25:30

confines of the fandom for

25:32

Indiana Jones, I'm hopeful. I

25:34

can't wait, Grub, for portions of the

25:36

internet audience to say, oh my God,

25:39

Indiana Jones just woke. Yeah, he's punching

25:41

Nazis. What the hell's going

25:43

on? Can't we just have a conversation? And

25:47

we just solve this with the marketplace of ideas.

25:51

Yeah. Put an egg in your

25:53

shoe and beat it. I did a video

25:55

about a kind of a reskin game of punch

25:57

out where you punch Nazis.

26:00

and a bunch of people in my comments eventually.

26:03

It got posted in one of those Kotaku

26:05

in action things and then they all came

26:07

and were like, oh, you're gonna solve this

26:09

with violence? Like, yes, I am, correct. You

26:11

found me. All

26:13

right, let's take a quick break when we get

26:15

back. We got a lot more headlines, including a

26:17

new Star... Well, a new old Star Wars game

26:20

coming to the Switch this August, right after this.

27:50

to the new aftermarket. All

27:56

right, we are back. Let's get right

27:58

back into it with Aspire's... bringing another

28:00

classic Star Wars game to Switch this

28:03

August. This is from Jim Norman at

28:05

Nintendo Life. Aspire has today

28:07

announced that 2002's Star Wars Bounty Hunter

28:09

will be blasting onto Switch on the

28:12

1st of August in an all-new package.

28:14

You might remember this third-person action-adventure from

28:16

back in the GameCube days. In it,

28:18

you play as Jango Fett before his

28:21

little run-in with Mace Windu, obviously, on

28:23

a mission to capture a mysterious dark

28:25

Jedi. Expect all the

28:28

trappings of classic Mandalorian combat as you

28:30

blast, scorch, and fly your way through

28:32

the campaign. As you might expect,

28:34

this isn't a straight-up port and Aspire has

28:36

made some adjustments to the original game. This

28:39

version boasts visual enhancements, improved textures,

28:41

new dynamic lighting effects, and a

28:43

flashlight tool to assist in dark

28:45

areas. Oh, weird. That's also

28:47

a Boba Fett skin, or there's also a Boba Fett

28:50

skin which could be unlocked by completing the main campaign.

28:52

I am very excited about this because I like

28:54

this game a lot. This is

28:57

actually a good game. It's not a

28:59

great game, but that does it. Who

29:01

cares? I want my Star Wars games

29:03

to be good and small and weird and not have

29:05

aspirations beyond that.

29:09

Let's just do this. This was a phase

29:11

of Star Wars games that I felt were

29:13

all gems. Not like diamonds, but gems. Yes,

29:15

right. You're going to find some precious rock

29:18

underneath the cruft of whatever

29:20

new Star Wars game you're getting. It's

29:24

got a cool scanning mechanism where you

29:26

go... Basically, you're playing as

29:28

a bounty hunter. You're playing as Jango Fett who has

29:30

to find bounties. You might walk into

29:32

a space and see a bunch of aliens, and you

29:34

need to scan them and find the right one. The

29:37

game will tell you their crimes and stuff like that.

29:40

It is really neat. I think

29:42

it's got a good look. Then

29:45

everything else is good enough. It's

29:48

what I want from that game. Hey,

29:50

listen. This is Jango Fett. My name is

29:52

Jan. Of course I'm going to like this.

29:54

Yes. And mechanize the same. Did

29:56

this already come out on other stuff or is this new?

29:58

I think this is new. Who did

30:01

a bounty hunter come out on anything other

30:03

than the GameCube? I think it was GameCube

30:05

and Xbox. It was PS2, PS2, okay. This

30:08

was available, I think, through their

30:12

weird, not quite remaster or

30:14

putting stuff on to Sony's

30:16

equivalent of their virtual console.

30:18

But this was playable.

30:21

It just wasn't remastered at

30:23

all. Yeah, and now I am remembering

30:25

Flam, Flam, Flam, Flandrew in chances. It's

30:27

on PS4. This was

30:29

something that happened several years ago. It did come

30:31

out on PS4 and now it's on Switch, so

30:33

that's great. Yeah, this

30:37

was part of that whole package of titles

30:39

with the Ape Escape 2, 3,

30:42

but it was only the

30:44

PAL version versus the NTSC version. Oh, yeah,

30:46

they did that as well. Yeah. Fun group.

30:49

Yeah. Yeah, weird.

30:52

Hey, I'm just glad that they're sticking with bringing more

30:54

of these games forward in a variety of ways possible.

30:56

Is Bounty Hunter on PC? I don't know if it

30:58

ever did that. I hope that this is a precursor

31:00

to that because that would be cool as well. Of

31:03

course, I could just play on my Switch and I probably will. All

31:07

right, Steam introduces new game recording feature and

31:09

it works with Steam Deck. This is from

31:12

Claire Lewis at GameSpot. Steam has

31:14

just introduced a new feature for players called

31:16

game recording, though it is still

31:18

in the beta testing phase. Game recording

31:20

is exactly what it sounds like. A

31:23

built-in feature that allows users to record

31:25

and share gameplay footage. Players can

31:27

use game recording to record a quick clip

31:29

of a particularly impressive 360 no-scope

31:31

kill in a live service game

31:33

recording an entire RPG campaign play

31:35

through and everything in between. Clips

31:37

can then be edited as needed

31:39

and then uploaded for the world

31:41

to see. Game recording has two

31:43

modes, background recording and on-demand recording.

31:45

In background recording mode, gameplay is

31:47

continuously saved to the player's preferred

31:49

drive. On-demand recording mode can

31:51

be used at will, stopping and starting via

31:54

a manual input from the player. Steam's

31:56

new game recording tool also allows players

31:58

to use the Steam timeline. and event

32:00

markers included in the mode to locate

32:03

and mark high intensity moments in the

32:05

recording. So pretty cool stuff here. A lot

32:07

of stuff that's like very familiar. There's a lot of tools

32:09

out there that do this. But the big thing here is

32:11

this is going to work on the Steam Deck. So that's

32:14

a really neat thing. They've been working on this for

32:16

a while because they didn't mention they want to have

32:18

something like this on the Steam Deck. But

32:21

they just having it built into Steam makes

32:23

a lot of sense. I think they did.

32:25

They do mention here game recording works with

32:27

any and all games on Steam and it's

32:29

also compatible with Steam Deck, allowing players to

32:32

record and share clips from their Steam Deck

32:34

to their PC or phone. Additionally, game recording

32:36

can be exported in .mp4 formats for editing

32:38

outside of Steam. One would hope that would

32:40

be the case. Cool. Yeah, this is neat.

32:42

I definitely found myself, Jan, in situations where

32:45

I'm like, okay, where's the record button? So I

32:47

can record what just happened on the Steam Deck and

32:49

there hasn't been one. And it's like a

32:51

glaring missing feature for me because it is something

32:53

I use frequently on the Switch. Yeah.

32:56

I've been like, well, that's just not a

32:58

normal feature to have on one of these

33:00

devices. So it's not strange that it's not

33:02

here. Also, I wouldn't want it to hurt

33:05

performance because you're taking up CPU cycles usually

33:07

to record these things in the background. They'll

33:09

probably use the AMD stuff that is in

33:11

the background. So it'll probably be on the GPU.

33:14

But still, it could have an effect on performance. Those

33:17

aren't the most powerful chips in the world. Hopefully what

33:19

they've done here is figure out a way to do

33:21

most of this without seeing any real detriment to the

33:23

gameplay. I'm hopeful. Yeah. That's what

33:25

my hope would be, especially having

33:28

this feature launch now

33:31

versus when the Steam Deck

33:33

originally launched and just in

33:35

Steam's history. This would be very welcome.

33:38

I would love this and

33:41

would and am going to use

33:43

this so often. Totally. Yes. And

33:46

games are going to be running at lower resolution

33:48

and with lower graphical effects on the Steam Deck.

33:50

And I'm like, yeah, that usually doesn't matter for

33:52

one of these moments. I just want to capture

33:54

what happened and have it be silly. And I

33:57

think the lower

33:59

visual fidelity. He's not gonna bother anyone really

34:01

though, which I'll be glad to have those moments more than

34:03

anything else I'm trying to

34:05

think Because

34:08

when I when I know that I like a

34:10

game that I'm playing on the steam deck grub

34:12

I'm taking screenshots every five seconds same I'm

34:16

trying to think of my cadence of like, okay

34:19

Well, I guess it'd be similar to my cadence

34:21

of taking short clips or videos on the switch

34:23

So just as frequent then

34:25

yes constantly I'll

34:27

have to make some room on the SD card which are you

34:30

know, I already have like the one

34:32

terabyte Terabyte excuse me terabyte Internal

34:35

storage steam deck and then I put a one terabyte

34:37

SD card in there as well And

34:39

I you know, I have some space for games, but

34:41

not a ton I should probably just delete a few

34:43

of those and dedicate some of that space to these

34:45

video clips. I I also

34:47

hope that the Management of

34:49

this stuff is mostly like the console experience.

34:52

I know this thing's I would see but

34:54

I am You know on

34:56

on PlayStation and and I the way that works on

34:58

a lot of other stuff But it's like, you know,

35:00

there's a dedicated set of space and maybe you can

35:03

like set that off to the side So if you

35:05

do install a game the game is aware of that

35:07

space is already reserved So don't overwrite that for the

35:09

game. Let me know that now we won't be able

35:11

to record as much I kind of wanted

35:13

to just work without me having to think about it too much And

35:16

that's been the steam deck the way the steam deck

35:18

has worked, but this is a a global steam feature

35:21

So I hope it's very also Refined

35:23

for the steam deck as well. Would you expect that

35:26

I would hope so Yeah, I mean

35:29

like even getting to the screenshots on

35:31

the steam deck Isn't

35:33

the easiest thing to do.

35:35

Yeah, it's a little obtuse

35:38

But like once you upload it from

35:41

your steam deck to your steam account You

35:43

can at least access it fairly easy

35:45

on on your phone Yeah, that's sure that

35:47

is your prerogative. So that aspect is nice

35:50

streamlining that process Just

35:52

so I can post my dumb clips would be ever

35:54

so sweeter Yep, just the dumb stuff I

35:57

do in Elden Ring mostly where it's like,

35:59

yep. I fell off that edge trying to

36:01

turn around again. Yeah, dumbass. Grub,

36:04

what is the oddest

36:06

thing still installed on your Steam Deck? Because I can

36:08

tell you mine. Oh, I have

36:10

no idea. I have so much installed. I can't remember.

36:13

What is yours? Suicide Squad. Ah,

36:15

there it is. How did that run on

36:17

Steam Deck? Was that okay on Steam Deck?

36:19

It was okay. Who is okay? Let's see

36:22

if I can just look at my library

36:24

and see if it stands out. Yeah,

36:26

I don't know. I got a lot

36:28

of weird stuff on there. This body

36:30

cam game. Kind of scary to me.

36:33

That's stoner. I don't want anything to do with

36:36

that game. Yeah, it's bizarre. Okay,

36:39

let's keep moving here. A new

36:41

official Steam Controller is on the

36:43

way. And yes, that's for real.

36:46

This is from Brendan Hess at

36:48

GameSpot. Controller manufacturer Hori has

36:50

announced a new Steam Focus wireless

36:52

controller launching later this year. Hori's

36:55

wireless Steam Controller is officially licensed by

36:57

Valve and both companies work together to

36:59

ensure the gamepad and all its features

37:01

are fully compatible with Steam on desktop

37:04

and Steam Deck. Valve

37:06

discontinued its own official Steam Controller back in

37:08

2019. Man, has it really been that

37:10

long? So this new collaboration with Hori is

37:12

notable. As of now, it's the only controller

37:14

for Steam that's an active production, which

37:17

is pretty wild considering how massive Steam is.

37:19

Unlike the discontinued Steam Controller, which

37:21

used touch based track pads instead

37:24

of thumbsticks and a unique button

37:26

layout, Hori's pad offers a more

37:28

traditional design similar to most other

37:30

wireless controllers. All the expected

37:32

face buttons and shoulder triggers and thumbsticks

37:34

are present. There are also a few

37:36

bonus features including four remappable buttons, two

37:39

on the front and two paddles on

37:41

the back. It also has a dedicated

37:43

button for Steam Big Picture Mode, Overlay,

37:45

and Steam Quick Access Menu. I

37:47

do wonder if you'll be able to program

37:49

like the Steam recording feature to one of

37:51

those reprogrammable buttons. That would be nice too.

38:00

It has a little

38:02

bit of the stink of like a third

38:04

party controller like from you know

38:06

previous generations But I kind of like the way

38:08

it looks again. I'll bring it a second forever.

38:10

I also trust Hori. I feel like yeah exactly

38:12

like some of my More

38:15

preferred third party controllers. Yeah,

38:17

I'm like I mostly have had good

38:19

experience with Hori's You

38:21

know I use their split split split

38:23

pad Pro Compact for

38:26

my switch and that's been really honestly.

38:28

It's been by far my favorite controller

38:30

for the switch and There

38:33

there it is I don't know it's guy I know it's got

38:35

kind of both the premium look and and a cheap look at

38:37

the same time And I think I like that aesthetic The

38:40

sort of the offset sticks and one of

38:42

them living in that Basin

38:44

with the d-pad there in the middle of the controller. I

38:46

don't know I kind of like the way that looks Yeah,

38:51

I don't yeah Right

38:54

it actually reminds me of a ps5 in a lot of

38:56

ways Which I feel the same way about where I'm like

38:58

it's ugly in an interesting way Yeah,

39:00

you know and I that's what we all are here

39:03

a giant bomb. That's what I'm aiming for man That's

39:05

not all I want in life Yeah,

39:07

I Again,

39:09

this is not a product for me, but I'm

39:11

glad that the the people out there that enjoy

39:14

it might kind of like it Yeah,

39:17

I think My

39:19

expectation here Jan is that the

39:21

most popular controller on On

39:24

Steam will continue to be the Xbox controller

39:26

which it is already apparently by far the

39:28

most popular controller I think like something like

39:30

65% of people use an Xbox controller Yeah

39:35

When you play PC games you sit down to play you

39:37

do like do you default the keyboard and mouse or do

39:39

you like just? Does it depend

39:41

on the game? It

39:43

definitely depends on the game and

39:45

depending on where the game is in its

39:48

development cycle I'll just err towards mouse and

39:50

keyboard but My

39:53

previous Xbox controller broke

39:56

So I have just been using a dual

39:59

sense right been okay Oh yeah, totally. That's

40:01

fine. Yeah, the Steam is... The

40:04

best thing about Steam by far is

40:06

the Steam input stuff, where it's like

40:08

they could just make just about anything

40:10

work and you can rework things and

40:13

use the community layouts and things like that. That's been

40:15

just kind of a miracle. Oh,

40:18

I do enjoy using my Switch

40:20

Pro controller, though, when I find

40:22

it. Oh, sure. Yeah. When

40:26

you use that on... Sure thing, when

40:28

you use that on Steam, does it change the button

40:30

layout around? It should, right? Where it's like in those

40:32

where the A and B button, how they swapped? I

40:35

purposely in my head, though, put it to

40:38

Xbox formation, though, because

40:40

I don't want to look down at the

40:42

bass causation of the formation. Very

40:45

cool. All right,

40:47

let's move along here. The

40:49

next story is Hitman 3's

40:51

first celebrity target sees Agent

40:53

47 taking on Conor McGregor.

40:55

This is from Ben Lyons at Game Reactor.

40:59

IO Interactive has been working wonders with continuing

41:01

to make Hitman 3 and the world of

41:03

assassination entertaining. The various updates and new missions

41:05

keep the challenge and thrill of stepping into

41:07

the shoes of Agent 47 alive and well,

41:09

and this will only be expanded on in

41:11

the near future because the Danish

41:13

developers teaming up with the Irish MMA

41:15

fighter Conor McGregor to welcome him into

41:17

the world of assassination as one of

41:20

Agent 47's next targets. I

41:23

guess I don't love when people work with Conor McGregor because I

41:25

think it kind of sucks, but at

41:27

least I'll get to kill him. You know,

41:29

so there you go. I

41:32

think you think that him leaning into

41:34

how the public perceives him? Yes,

41:37

I think that is based

41:39

on watching that Roadhouse

41:41

movie. I think his plan

41:43

going forward is to go into various

41:46

industries and

41:49

trade on his perception and like

41:51

his tough guy mentality or whatever

41:54

and sort of like the local asshole

41:56

like that. Everyone like this, they avoid him. He wants

41:58

to fight. Like he has that energy and I think

42:00

he's going to bring it to all these projects to

42:02

try to like, you know, get some money for the

42:04

long run. Yeah, I. Hey,

42:07

I don't like Conor McGregor, but I

42:09

love Hitman. I wish they wouldn't give

42:11

him money, but but

42:13

oh well, that's how this

42:15

goes sometimes. And at least

42:17

he's not in a heroic position. At least I don't have to play

42:19

a game as him. I can go in there and be like, he's

42:21

a villain and treat him as such. Yeah,

42:24

there's yeah. Yeah, there's that balance. Because

42:26

I mean, you only I guess

42:28

you only give him money once and

42:30

you could keep offing him. Yeah,

42:33

I guess. Yeah. Listen, it's however anyone

42:35

feels about this, whatever. But yeah, it's

42:37

it's I don't know when I will

42:39

see this stuff. It's like I'm so

42:41

grateful anytime I have

42:44

a thing I'm a fan of where like the people

42:46

responsible for it have just done a great job of

42:48

avoiding ever being shitheads or working with shitheads. And that's

42:50

so rare that it's like I'm

42:52

grateful for that. But in these moments, I'm like, OK, this is

42:54

something that is precious to me and Hitman. And

42:57

they are doing something I find a little distasteful.

43:00

What's the solution here? Well, I

43:02

don't really have a good answer to that. I'm just going to

43:04

criticize it. I wish they wouldn't have done this. But I don't

43:08

know. A lot of people don't have the same feelings towards Conor

43:10

McGregor that I do. And I got a certain point. I just

43:12

accept that. Yeah, I

43:14

would love to do this on the site,

43:17

but I'd also not. I

43:20

also love to not see Conor McGregor's exactly capacity.

43:22

And there's plenty of other stuff we could do

43:24

in Hitman at any one time. All

43:28

right. Well, we're coming in a little bit short. So you

43:30

know what I was thinking we could do is if anyone

43:32

wants to ask a question, do a little grub snacks.

43:34

Feel free to use that ask a question button there on

43:36

giant bomb dot com. We'll also wrap up stuff maybe a

43:38

little bit early today. I got plenty to do to

43:41

get ready for my trip. So that'd be good. OK.

43:44

Thanks. While we have that happening, I do

43:46

have a poll question that I will get

43:48

prepped. Let's do that. Sorry. Over

43:51

here and hit

43:53

refresh to make sure we have the most

43:55

up to date information. All

43:58

right. Have you beaten shadow of. the urge

44:00

free. I asked this yesterday, I know it's

44:02

pretty early, and that

44:04

is reflected in the results where 4%

44:06

said, yes, I've beaten it. 30% said,

44:09

no, I haven't. And 65% said they

44:13

haven't started playing it. So, you

44:15

know, one versus, you know, one

44:17

to six. So one out of six people have beaten

44:20

Shadow of the Urge Tree already.

44:22

It's actually relatively high for so

44:24

quickly after the release. I

44:27

am probably about halfway through,

44:29

I think, Jan. There we go. Yeah, I'm

44:31

about, I've probably been playing for about maybe

44:33

15 hours, 20 hours. And

44:36

I feel like I'm about halfway through, but I'm not

44:38

trying to do everything either. So maybe there's a lot

44:41

more that I'm not realizing. Yeah,

44:43

I think I'm just gonna hang back for this

44:45

one and revisit this, revisit

44:48

the Urge Tree a little later.

44:50

Yeah, yeah. What's keeping you busy

44:52

instead? I've been playing

44:54

a lot of a thousand times resist

44:57

and still really enjoying that.

44:59

There are new layers

45:01

to this onion that keep blooming

45:04

and I'm continuously surprised and pleased

45:06

with it. I also

45:08

want to circle back to other things. I

45:11

realize I didn't hit

45:13

credits in Infinite

45:15

Wealth. And after coming back from Maui,

45:18

I do want to revisit Hawaii

45:22

and also to prep for my Japan trip. I

45:24

guess I should just dive back in. Yeah,

45:26

you can do both to Two Birds with one

45:28

stone there. Yeah. So you said you

45:30

never saw credits in that game because the ending of

45:33

that game is actually pretty powerful stuff. I like it

45:35

quite a bit. Yeah. And then, Grub, I don't know

45:37

if I want to go back to Final Fantasy VII

45:39

Rebirth. Yeah. Yeah.

45:41

I mean, for me, Rebirth

45:44

got to a point very quickly where it's like,

45:46

I get it. And I get

45:49

it in parentheses positive where it's

45:52

a well-made game. I see what they're going for here.

45:54

There's a lot of stuff. It's not necessarily

45:56

for me, but I was still enjoying what I

45:58

was playing. what they were going for

46:01

and I'm gonna go play something else now go try to

46:03

get what it's trying to do So

46:05

I kind of am in the same position as

46:07

you I think and I know

46:09

that we're near the halfway mark of the

46:11

year So game of the year is quickly

46:13

approaching and that sounds absolutely terrifying and stressful

46:17

So, you know, I will visit shadow of the

46:19

urge tree soon. I just need to

46:22

Get my PC character to mug so

46:24

we can we can visit

46:27

the urge tree What

46:29

I was thinking this even though I know that

46:32

I haven't completely finished infinite wealth Infinite

46:34

wealth is that's that's it for

46:36

me, baby. Yeah. God. That's really

46:39

up there That's that's like, you

46:41

know, like I know shadow the urge tree maze sway

46:44

me to a different side but like Infinite

46:47

wealth baby. Yeah, okay. It's really good.

46:49

Absolutely. God. I I Kind

46:51

of was like II when I was doing a recount like

46:54

was stuff I play and that didn't even come to mind

46:56

I'm like, oh it should have because it's so good All

47:00

right, let's see here

47:03

staff questions What's

47:05

Jeff back of ours fucking deals this lame

47:07

the gossip he is he has

47:09

to put up with us constantly. Yeah That's

47:13

the deal. Yeah, I think we're all

47:15

sweet daisies all the time No,

47:17

the way we are today I'm on a voiceable dump

47:19

truck with the other episode the other day where we're

47:21

just giving shit the whole Time that's what it's like

47:23

all the time for him. So yeah, you can imagine

47:26

Yeah, yeah, he he is definitely the mom

47:28

of the team without realizing he's the mom

47:30

of the 100% Yes, back

47:33

or is mommy Let's

47:36

see here From

47:38

nylock how much do leaker shutdowns

47:40

affect your job? Ah, not too

47:43

much You know it the

47:45

way that these people were getting access to their

47:47

information for the most part is very different from

47:49

how it works for me so

47:52

like That story

47:54

about how there were people paying money

47:56

to the people who had you access

47:59

to the YouTube back end to get

48:01

their information. Like that, I've never even

48:03

met someone that was like offering that,

48:05

you know, never even talked to them in my DMs. They

48:08

never approached me to like, hey, I have stuff, do

48:10

you wanna give me $100? I'm

48:12

like, yeah, I would never would do that,

48:14

but they never even reached out in the first place. So

48:16

it's a whole other world and it hasn't really affected me

48:18

too much. And yeah,

48:21

I'm gonna keep doing stuff the way I've been

48:23

doing it, because it's been working fine for me

48:25

and it's like I've said before, I have no

48:28

actual obligation to do it for this job. But

48:31

yeah, it's definitely the kind of thing where when

48:33

this happens and I see these companies like getting

48:36

a little bit more defensive, you

48:38

worry a little bit, but hey, if

48:40

no rumors come across my desk, oh

48:43

well, we got other stuff going on. Yeah.

48:45

Let's see here from Mike Sweeney,

48:48

what's Jan's latest cooking project? That's

48:51

a good question. I

48:54

didn't know where to report this grub.

48:57

This isn't a cooking project per se,

48:59

but I am giving a double thumbs

49:01

up to Wendy's Saucy Nugs. Oh yeah?

49:04

Yeah, I hate them. They were good. I

49:08

felt like a garbage human being afterwards. Well, that's what you want

49:10

from Nugs. That's what you want

49:12

from Nugs. I tried the spicy garlic parm. You

49:15

know what is terrible? Do not go to

49:17

Costco. Do not go into the frozen food

49:19

section and do not buy the 30 pack

49:21

of frozen shrimp tempura that you can easily

49:23

throw into your air fryer. Because now you

49:25

just have shrimp tempura at the ready. Yeah,

49:27

you gotta be careful with that. You gotta

49:29

be more careful life over there. Dr.

49:32

Randall says that you guys are a fan

49:34

of this Wyatt Six stuff. I've not been

49:36

paying much attention recently because I've been busy.

49:38

From a distance, I like the sound of

49:40

it because I

49:43

like when wrestling is really dumb and weird.

49:47

But yeah, I don't know. I get a lot of people

49:49

are like, it's not working for them. I

49:51

kind of like it. I just don't

49:54

know how they

49:56

move forward with it. And

49:59

like, I see people saying, yeah,

50:01

they're ditching the paranormal. They're ditching the

50:03

paranormal and going with spooky instead. I,

50:06

it doesn't quite feel like they're ditching the

50:08

paranormal. There's, they're leaning into both sides and

50:10

it's, I think it's just hard

50:12

for longterm booking to deal with that. And I

50:15

realize, yes, we have a character like the undertaker,

50:17

uh, but even then, um, I

50:20

don't know where the ceiling is for

50:23

the Wyatt six. Yep. Uh,

50:26

dark a, Lauren says, how close were you to actually having

50:28

Phil Spencer on the couch this year? It was, you know,

50:30

it was confirmed. He was, they were going to do it.

50:32

It was going to, we only got mentioned before on, on

50:34

this show that, uh, he was

50:36

going to do it with Sarah Bond and Matt booty.

50:38

And, uh, about a week

50:40

and a half before we were going to do everything.

50:42

Uh, they're like, Oh, actually we can't do it. Uh,

50:44

sorry. They, they offered some, some, uh, concessions there that

50:47

just didn't feel right for the show. So I said

50:49

no to that, but it was like, we kind

50:52

of, I, we got the sense early on it was

50:54

going to go down that way, even though it was

50:56

confirmed it's supposed to happen. So we're not too surprised

50:58

and, um, probably was the best choice for them. Uh,

51:01

and I, I understand that. So, uh,

51:04

they made it clear. That's like, this is not, this

51:06

does not mean it's never going to happen again. So,

51:08

uh, we'll probably be able to make it happen again

51:11

at some point in the future. All

51:13

right. So let's do one more. Uh, Ben

51:15

H, have you ever played final fantasy eight?

51:17

I have not. Uh,

51:20

yes, yes. Yeah. It took me

51:22

a second, but yes, I love gun blades. Yeah.

51:25

I love leather jackets with fur collars. I do

51:27

like all that stuff. Um, but I've never played

51:29

final fantasy eight. I'm not going to promise final

51:31

fantasy eight. Cause I was, I was thinking I'm

51:33

going on this, uh, this trip. And I think

51:35

I'm either going to start chrono

51:37

trigger or, or

51:39

earthbound, uh, one or the other.

51:42

But I was like, maybe I want to play

51:44

earthbound and then, and then mother three

51:46

on the site. So

51:49

maybe I'll do chrono trigger instead. I don't know. We'll see.

51:51

Um, and

51:53

then those are the games I'm going to catch up on.

51:55

So I'm not going to throw final fantasy eight onto that

51:57

list. Uh, okay.

52:00

I think what we should do now is

52:02
