LucasArts was ahead of its time in the gaming world. A branch of LucasFilms meant to bring all of George Lucas' vision to the video game form. It lasted for two decades or so before the Mouse decided he wanted to shut it down as a means of cost cutting. The games have been remade by the people who left them, but the company lives on with a giant shadow on gaming.
