The work of occupational therapists (OT) is so necessary and life-changing; however, it isn't talked about nearly often enough! In this weeks episode I interview the lovely Katherine who works as an OT on the stroke ward. Together we discuss what an average day for an OT looks like, some of the amazing ways that OT can change the lives of individuals, and all of he different fields that OT's can work in, from the hospital, to schools and prisons. If you are interested in working in the health field, helping people in really tangible ways, and learning skills that are transferrable to a range of different field, then maybe occupational therapy is the job for you!
