The phrase "prayer closet" is uttered by many in the church and because it is we think it must be biblical. That's the power of repetition. But is going into your prayer closet and quieting your mind the avenue in which God speaks? Is that what Jesus meant when He said, "go into your closet and pray"? (Matt 6:6)
